I did a cake smash photo shoot with my granddaughter as she turned one year old. I don't know how that happened, time has a habit of running away! She looked so cute and I struggled to know which photo to choose so may end up posting more. It was more of a cake slide than a smash and she loved the raspberries.
A collage of my grandson's first birthday cake smash photoshoot.
We tried to get him to sit on the floor for this but he wouldn't keep still for long enough to put the cake down so we resorted to the high chair. It was great fun and he did actually demolish the cake in the end but I chose these pics as he looks so cheeky and happy in them. The cake and frosting were sugar free as his mum doesn't want him getting a taste for sugar just yet.
I got to take Raelynn's one year portraits on her birthday. I tried to do a cake smash but she didn't want to smash it, she likes being clean. What a good little girl.
I finally bought seamless paper and a bigger piece of Plexiglas for the floor part of the paper. The streamers are taped to my boom arm (attached to a stand).
Today I had the pleasure of photographing my niece's cake smash. She was absolutely perfect, all smiles and giggles. It was an absolute blast and I can't wait to finish editing these photos!
Well, I say cake smash.... was more of a cake tickle. He liked the cake & icing, but wasn't keen on being too dirty & sticky!
