Une vision du tourisme de masse... Un Soir d’août comme les autres sur la caldeira de Santorin... La ville de Fira au sommet des 300m de la falaise semble assiégée par les énormes paquebots de croisière. A une toute autre échelle le Caïque au premier plan apparaît minuscule...
This picturesque village is constructed amphitheatrically around a small yet beautiful port where small, colorful fishing boats known as “caiques” moor and where the remains of the Venetian castle is still visible, creating a breathtaking experience. Ouzeries (where you can eat appetizers called “mezedes” and drink “ouzo”) and little taverns embark the port by creating a traditional and friendly atmosphere. Naoussa didn’t completely lose its traditional feel, like some other Greek Islands.

Un caïque ou saïque est un type ancien de petits bateaux rustiques, à rames ou à voiles, utilisés dans le bassin oriental de la Méditerranée et en mer Noire.
Il est remis au goût du jour avec des versions modernes motorisées nettement plus imposantes (caïque ketch ou goélette) disposant de tout le confort pour des croisières côtières et appréciées pour leur construction en bois.
Ici en bordure de Néa Kaméni dans la caldeira de Santorin dans les Cyclades.
