Window Wednesday
I had Labs this morning. They give you a ticket for a free beverage so I stopped off at the cafeteria and got one and a photo out their nice big window.

I took this shot the same night as the one shown in the first comment. This part of the building still belongs to the Paul-Löbe-Haus, I guess it's some kind of cafeteria.

Este antiguo vagón-comedor de circo del año 1927 fue rescatado de Inglaterra por la familia Raluy y tras sufrir un largo proceso de restauración se incorporó como cafetería del circo (London Bar).
This old circus dining car from 1927 was rescued from England by the Raluy family and after undergoing a long restoration process it was incorporated as a circus cafeteria (London Bar).

Canada's emergency government would have required a lot of food to keep functioning in the bunker for 30 days. Were the bunker fully manned during wartime, this cafeteria could seat up to 200 people at one sitting. There was always enough fresh food on hand to serve meals for 7-10 days. After that (during a war emergency) personnel would have had to rely on the Meals, Ready-to-Eat (MREs), also known a K-Rations.
