I love this challenge because when I have a day where a photo doesn't present itself, and it's 7pm and I am asking the kids 'what can I do?'...something ALWAYS emerges.
My March edition of delicious arrived today and was still in its plastic when I had a thought. I love this magazine but since we have moved, I have really struggled in the kitchen after coming from a huge 3 metre caesarstone island bench with a lovely big oven to a dingy space with crappy drawers and a crappier oven and inadequate electrical outlets (if you plug in more than one appliance the lights blow). My thought was to photograph a few beautiful pages of beautiful food and lovely photography and give you the story.
Then I came across the escape section.
In three months time myself and three deserved girls are going to experience a whirlwind nine days in New York...and delicious has dedicated their global flavours section to the city that never sleeps.
On that note, I am inviting ANY recommendations on the most fabulous places to visit and things to do in this exciting city as I have to get my list sorted!!! —
