This is our beautiful cat, caesar, a short while before he was diagnosed with acute renal failure.
We made the tough decision to put him to sleep a few months later, when it became apparent his quality of life was becoming non-existant.
Not a day goes by without noticing the hole his absence leaves in our lives.

As served at the Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise's Lakeview Restaurant. It's a cocktail of mainly vodka and Clamato (tomato-clam juice) with Worcestershire sauce, celery salt on the rim, and four garnishes: asparagus, olive, pearl onion, and lemon.

Caesars Palace is a luxury hotel and casino located on the Las Vegas Strip in Paradise, Nevada, an unincorporated township in Clark County, Nevada, United States in the Las Vegas metropolitan area. Caesars Palace is owned and operated by Caesars Entertainment Corporation. Caesars is located on the west side of the Strip, between the Bellagio and the Mirage. The hotel includes a convention facility of over 300,000 square feet. Caesars has 3,960 rooms in six towers: Augustus, Centurion, Roman, Palace, Octavius, and Forum. The Forum tower features guest suites with 1,000 square feet of space.
Sarno, the designer and planner "struggled to decide on a name for the hotel. He finally decided to call it Caesars Palace because he thought that the name Caesar would evoke thoughts of royalty because of Roman general Julius Caesar. Sarno felt that guests should feel they were at a king's home while at his hotel. It is called "Caesars" and not "Caesar's" because every guest is a Caesar."
Caesar's Palace didn't look like a hotel and casino which opened in August of 1966. Granted, it must have been upgraded over the years, but it looked thoroughly modern. And stunning both inside and out.

Behind me is the Caesars Palace up the top and also the Bellagio shops.
In the Bellagio shopping strip is where all the super fancy shops are. We went to the Tiffanys in the Bellagio to buy a ring.
The Caesars Palace was opened in 1966 and is one of the older hotels on the Las Vegas Strip. This hotel is also feature in a lot of movies including Oceans 11 and The hangover.
