The cable guy came by today. I had him pose for this quick portrait.

Here's the outcome of a fair effort, both being here for favourable weather/time of year with the sun positioned just so to play the vital role realising my 'vision', and lots of tripod shuffling over the visits to finalise the composition for when that moment eventually came along.
Still not been for a ride over on the thing yet, maybe one day when its not windy!
The San Francisco cable car system is the world's last still manually operated.

At the bottom of Wellington's cable car track there is a wonderfully vibrant mural created by local illustrator Gina Kiel. Such a bright addition to our city.
