A bit of a touchy shot to get. One has the cable car coming down the hill at you as the automobiles are coming up the hill behind you.
Anyone looking at my photostream will figure out pretty quickly that I am almost obsessed with cablecar silhouette shots. Here is yet another one, heavily edited in PS and Lightroom.

A photo going back a few years to a lovely day in London. the three of us took the Airline across the River Thames to Greenwich.
As can be seen the views are pretty good. This scene shows an unmanned Docklands Light Rail (DRL) unit on the northbank with an old gasometer forming the central backdrop. I wonder whether it is still there? Those tower blocks in course of construction have also dramatically changed the landscape and skyline.
I have tidied this photo up as best as possible. The problem was shooting through the rather murky perspex window of the chairlift cabin.
OK, so I said I did not take icons often, and here I am posting San Francisco cable cars. Well, it was just one of those days where I liked the color and the sunshine, and the sound.
What an amazing sunset this was. During a short hike through Vianden (Luxembourg) we've found this amazing castle on top of the hill.
