I like this nice, conservative color on the Vettes, very classy! This one is the "R" model, adds nothing more than appearance features.
2023 Chevrolet Corvette C8 3LT
The 3Lt is the highest trim level for the C8 Corvette.
Mechanically, every C8 Corvette Stingray has the same mid-mounted, naturally-aspirated 6.2L V8 LT2 engine which produces 490 horsepower and 465 pound-feet of torque in standard form, or 495 horsepower and 470 pound-feet of torque with the optional performance exhaust. This engine drives the rear wheels through an eight-speed dual-clutch transmission supplied by Tremec.
Red is definitely a great color for the new mid-engine Corvette. It screams give me a ticket if you can catch me (I wouldn't encourage that!). The C8 Vette made an appearance at the Christ of the Resurrection (COR) Car Show held in Leewood Kansas.
I do like this shade of blue on the latest mid-engined Corvette. The backdrop is a Sarasota boat dealership. Plenty of choice and deals, for sure.

Here's another stunning example of the new mid-engine Corvette, in maroon. This Vette has a 378 V-8 an the interior package that accompanies it, which includes, according to AutoTrader.com, a navigation infotainment system with a performance data and video monitor, a head-up display, power-operated lumbar and seat wings, a wireless phone charging pad, and a rear camera mirror. The 378 produces 495 horses with a zero to 60mph time of less than three seconds.
This is my first self-taken photo of 2023.
The engine on the Z06 version is a naturally aspirated 5.5 Liter DOHC V8. It’s rated at 670 hp (500 kW; 679 PS) at 8,400 rpm, and 460 lb⋅ft (624 N⋅m) of torque at 6,300 rpm. Redline for the engine is 8,600 rpm.
Its style appears rather fussy especially in this view.

We were on the entrance ramp to the road leading to Mount Washington when we saw this car pass by. Sure got our attention. Probably about an hour later while walking around Mount Washington looking for things to shoot, my lady looked between two buildings and spotted the car. Knowing that I'm a bit of a motorhead, she ushered me back there where I took several shots. Unfortunately, it was parked partly in the shadows and partly in the very bright sun which made getting the best possible shots pretty much out of the question. After we (yes she took some shots also) got done shooting, we went back to the front of the buildings. There was a Tattoo parlor painted in blue with yellow trim which matching the scheme of the car. As it turned out the owner of the car, Tim Gundrum was outside with a painter who was finishing up some details. Tim told me a little about the car (that it was a midengined C8 Corvette which I hadn't picked up and was supercharged).
