Hallelujah. One of my favourite words. . . Every person who has ever lived gives praise to something. It's part of our natural state. . . Power, leaders, money, ourselves... so many things can receive our praise. Hallel is the Hebrew word that describes this praise that every human heart chooses to give. . . Hallelujah describes the praise that is given to God alone. Hallel Yahweh. Hallelujah. God deserves a certain kind of praise reserved for Himself. We hallel God in a way that we don't hallel anything else in this life. . . These songs not only express our hallelujah but they are meant to inspire thousands upon thousands of Hallelujahs from the people who listen and from the people who have not yet heard. . . This weekend was so good for my creative soul. Honoured to lead and serve alongside teams of passionate, humble, talented artists who want nothing more than their art to point people to Jesus and celebrate him. 48 hours writing songs about Jesus for our church to sing. Came to @c4churchdurham to see an incredible new set design that's been in the works for a couple months. Tonight @jonneufeldmusic led hundreds of us to worship Jesus. Tomorrow we launch our new ministry year as we celebrate the hope of Jesus #allovertheearth. So thankful. So ready for tomorrow! #c4awesome #c4songs #c4creative
