A brick-built bust depicting a classic styled Joker. Includes signed display stand by the builder.
I've yet to sell anything this year for Creations for Charity, and so I decided to put something up that I'm sure would sell. Granted, I totally understand the niche appeal of my Hall of Justice, so I guess this more marketable thingy will have to do--at least until I get my 2015 brick badge for participating! Oh...and to help get Lego for children, that too.
Incidentally, I was working on this Joker design (the head at least) for a different creation that should be up in the next few weeks--so just act like you've never seen if before when it shows up again. ;)
This is also my first creation/image that uses my new softbox lights (that just arrived today). It should take some work, because I know nothing of how light as a concept works, but my creations should look far better now. Just need a camera and editing software. One down, two to go!
I've made the decision to part with my winning entry from the 2011 FBTB Alphabet Starfighter Contest and donate it to Creations for Charity, which raises money to donate LEGO sets to children in need. What all this means is that YOU could be the proud new owner of this dusty relic, to put on your display shelf at home, or just swoosh around the neighborhood.
You can read more about how this starfighter came into being, and all the MOC-building lessons I learned in the process, in this article I wrote about it for BrickNerd.
Note: Some minor changes and part swaps have been made to the original to further improve the MOC... but as you can see, nothing as drastic as the changes George Lucas made to the original Star Wars trilogy (Han shot first).
I made a blog post related to this photo:
"They will know we are Christians by our love for one another"
(From SFU C4C Leadership retreat)
Bible study and other student leaders in Campus for Christ at SFU.
While sorting, I ran across some of my older builds from the awesome GARC collab the community did throughout 2014 and 2015. I have made the decision that, rather than parting them out I would donate them to Creations for Charity this year, along with my midi-scale Whizzing Arrow II!
So I just clicked the 'submit' button to donate this replica build of my "Trail Blazer" speederbike.
It has not posted in the Creations for Charity store as of yet (EDIT: it is now posted, as of 10/31). Anyone interested should keep their eyes peeled. Everything shown is included (...heck, I'll even pay for shipping, and sign the stand)
Hey all you Imperial loyalists! It's time to represent your Empire with pride. Now is your chance to own this one-of-a-kind custom Lego portrait, composed mainly of Lego levers! Grand Moff Tarkin's rank bars are also included and look great when displayed beside the man himself. Check out Creations for Charity now, and place your purchase!
Enjoy, and see this album for more pictures.

The C4C Squad makes sure underprivileged children all over the galaxy are ending up with a gift or two by the time Christmas comes around. These colorful fellows come in vibrant coral, yellowish green and bright light yellow!
My second submission for this years Creations for Charity. Follow the link to the shop and consider making a purchase!
Since one Mech will only make a small impact I will put up all future Mech Monday mechs until C4C ends its submission period.
I am also not opposed to putting up any of the mechs that I built in this last year as most of them are still intact. Should you be interested in any of them, please reach out and we can discuss details!
Mech Monday is an ongoing project started by Marin and I with the aim to build and post 52 mechs each in 2019 – one every Monday.
Come join the fun by posting a mech, robot or drone on a Monday. Any Monday. Find everyone's builds so far in the Mech Monday flickr group.
If you want a challenge or need inspiration, next week we'll be doing "Halloween".
A recreation of one of the most iconic Beatles albums (I was going to do the white album but that would have been boring) for the Bricks of Character display at BrickCon.
This will be available to purchase at the Creations for Charity BrickLink page on the 15th of October!
Shout out to my Dad for taking the pictures and doing the edits for me!
These could be yours!
