The Citroën C15 don't get to be chopped in half - that would lose the possibility of using the back as a bar. They've always been known for handling quite well as sports cars, and I hear these days they have become fashionable among the younger generations. You might wonder what the copilot's job is in such a race where navigation is clearly not an issue. Well, slamming the right door shut again at every turn would be tough for the driver.

Thank you everyone for your visits, faves and comments, they are always appreciated :)

The Tordrid are a group of fierce 'bug' warriors who broke away from the Hive. They are now fueled by a new conviction, whatever that may be.

The C15 is a frustrating fighter to engage: it's constantly darting this way and that like a dragonfly, often defeating larger craft.

As these go, this must be a pretty old one. Only 50k on the clock and no MOT advisories or fails for rust, which must also be unusual for a C15.

Spanish Air Force F18, Hornet, at RAF Leuchars in 1991.

Also with the more unusual side-hung single rear door. Saw a pickup conversion elsewhere earlier in the holiday.

Pleasing to see this one in beige rather than white.

74,000 miles at the last MOT, bit it had only done 31,000 in 2014. No rust fails or advisories but doubtless there will be soon. Obviously well cared for

One of the last on a 55 plate. 95,000 miles at the last MOT and only minor fails. Unusually tidy and rust free for a C15. This could well be used as a small camper.

Slightly unusual in having the single rear door option.

2005 is not a mistake, the C15 was actually built until from 1984 till 2005.

One of the last and still obviously in use as a workhorse by a tradesman. There are still a few about round here, but they're no longer a daily sight. Most look like this with plenty of dents, scrapes, and rust.

Just got a new MOT on 95,000 miles after masses of fails. It looks tidy enough.

2002 van with 133,000 miles at the last MOT, and has only ever failed on minor things. Looks like it could be a small camper or mobile changing room.

2004 Citroën C15D. Very late example of the follow-up of the 1978-1987 Acadiane. It was based on the 1978-1988 Visa.

Number seen: probably over 20.

Nice to see Citroen wringing as much as the can from the old Visa!

I'm about 178cm tall and I don't think I'd get on in that as a camper van.
