Infrared image. This field normally does not have a pond, but due to heavy rains and high water it now possesses an unnamed body of water. At least temporarily.
Sony ILCE-7M2 Deep BW IR 830nm Filter | Lensbaby Sweet 35 (original version) I particularly like the charcoal-like appearance this combination creates.
Mrs. Wirehead was kind of annoyed with me about going after this shot because we pulled off the highway and pulled into some nut farm between Reno and Wine Country because I thought it would make a good shot.
The results speak for themselves, of course. :)

1) 60s pre-soak
2) HC-110 Dil H @ 10m, 68 F, with 5 figure-8 cycles every 60s
3) Two 30s changes of water for stop
4) Ilford Rapid Fixer for 6 minutes, with 5 figure-8 cycles every minute
5) Ilford recomended fast-archival-washing technique
6) Final wash with distilled water and 1:200 photo-flo.
Another shot from Shady Lakes New Mexico this time using a full spectrum modified camera with a LifePixel Deep BW IR filter. Inspired by Barry's shots at this location.

The water tower of Fort Revere, in IR. I believe it doubled as an observation point when the fort was in use.
