Desa Tenganan, Bali
One day before the event of "Perang Pandan" where the adults hold a small ritual before the actual fight.
The adults and elder gathers together , constructing the stage... and yes, there are a lot of photographers..
So, I suppose it's bad that I'm still posting pictures from my LAST trip to San Diego when I've got a new one starting after work today.
Oh well.
Things are still somewhat up in the air. I know I'm going back for another trip to the desert and I'll probably go right next to the military base to try and take another picture of the city skyline at night, given the last set didn't really come out very well. I'm packing assloads of camera gear and film. I'm bringing a bathing suit and sunblock.
Anyway... about this shot. High speed IR. I love this film. I'm going to tear up when I reach the last roll, I know I will. This is Balboa Park, which is much funner than Balboa Park in San Francisco.

This suspension bridge connects Philadelphia, PA with Goucester County, NJ.
Connecting Philadelphia, PA and Camden, NJ. Another bridge in my quest to photograph every bridge that crosses the Delaware River.
Photographed with a Panasonic Lumix DMC-LX2 modified for infrared photography. Processed from RAW format with SilkyPix Developer. Enhanced with Photoshop.
Been taking lots of natural landscape shots recently, and thought it was about time i introduced a little more concrete.
These are flats in seacroft (Leeds, UK), near the Tesco supermarket. Taken with an Infra Red filter.
These are the first IR shots where i've used the camera's own White Balance settings instead of doing it later in photoshop. I set the white point to some sun-lit grass outside the office before walking to the supermarket to grab some lunch.
These 2 building shots have been gradient-mapped black to white to add a tiny bit more punch, but aren't far removed from how they looked straight out of the camera (there was a slight sepia tint to them).

Temple of Literature
Entrance to the third courtyard is through the dominating Khuê Văn Các (constellation of literature), a large pavilion built in 1802. Central to this courtyard is the Thien Quang Tinh ("Well Of Heavenly Clarity").
