Sometimes you just miss. Just as I got this wasp in focus... it decided it didn't want its picture taken and it took off. :|
So you all have a lovely closeup of some Joe Pye weed buds and flowers, and a slightly blurred wasp as it lifts off.
Gaby tagged me. I have to list 9 random things about me. I'm buzzed so sorry about the crappy pic and the boring list. Don't hound me about typos either. ;)
1. I get to do my first newborn shoot tomorrow.
2. I'm broke as a joke so I have no money for newborn props. I have no idea how it's going to go tomorrow without props or anything. Don't I need a bowl, or plate or blanket or something? ugh.
3. My kids are at my moms and I miss them already. It's only been 10 hours since I've seen them.
4. I didn't take any pics today. Not one. And I hate it. Leaves me seriously bored in the evenings.
5. I had two shots of Patron a few minutes ago and now I'm feeling a'ight!
6. I have an idea for a Vday pic, but it involves a lot of photoshop and I don't know how to do it.
7. I still smoke. I said i was going to quit again on my birthday but I didn't. I'm disappointed in myself. Big time.
8. I wish I had a better picture to post for my tag, but I just couldn't find anything that caught my eye. I think I show yall everything I do.
9. My house is spotless. I had the kids help me clean today and EVERYTHING is done. I'm a little shocked that I don't even have enough clothes to do a load of laundry. You can come with a white glove and I'll pass inspection. :D

They have converted a 7-11 into a functioning KWIK-E-MART in Bladensburg, MD. So I spent my day off taking a trip to check it out. They have everything you need from Squishies to Buzz Cola to Pink Frosted Donuts with sprinkles! Sadly they were out of Krusty-O's and there was no Duff Beer to be found!
Your space ranger can fly too with this amazingly detailed Buzz Lightyear outfit from Disney.
The outfit consists of padded tabard with wings, and trousers with boot tops. And of course no Buzz Lightyear outfit would be complete without the fabric helmet.

Buzz Bruggeman is a great blogger and Pal. I sat next to Buzz yesterday at the conference and we talked about what kind of camera set up he should buy for less than $1,000.
My recommendation to Buzz was that he try to buy a used Canon 10D or 20D on eBay in good shape and then buy the Canon 50mm f/1.4 lens and the Canon 28-135 EF zoom.
