It amazes me every school year the things I find in the trash that teachers just don't want. This year I found a small stack of Disney folders in perfect condition. Not only do they have cute graphics on them, but I needed some folders! If it's free then it's for me!
I use two devices. My iPhone and my Macbook Pro.
I use a few web services. All of them "mainstream":
* Twitter + yfrog
* Flickr
* Google Reader
* Gmail
* Posterous
* and now Buzz.
The above picture describes my current information flow. Now the question is, is Buzz an addition to the service ecology, or a replacement?
Based on my information flow, it looks like posterous is a candidate for removal, to be replaced by Buzz.
They change these every like 2 3 weeks, my patna had let me know Buzz was posted. I thought epic fit perfectly.
Buzz Lightyear. There is work needed on his laser and wing ejector buttons. the heater below caused my original paint to bubble but since redoing it in acrylic there has been no problems. Acrylic is my No 1 tool now.

Buzz is one of my favorite characters. I think it has to do with the personality that Tim Allen gave him.
This was for Module 2 of Practical Photography's DSLR Skills course 2010. The theme was 'still life' and to attempt to recreate an iconic image. This is my attempt at Buzz Aldrin on the moon.
On June 25th a new Longo's location will open at the corner of Dundas & Elizabeth (one west of Bay).
I was able to attend the launch of the new location and get a little insight into and from the folks who are the Food Experts at Longo's.
I loved that Tom, the man in charge of the pastries & deli described in evocative detail the subtle differences in (and I'm going to get this wrong) Peruvian & Ecuadorian chocolate.
The list of prepared meals to-go got my mouth watering (and tasting didn't let me down).
Well worth a visit for a quick lunch downtown or for snagging something on your way home for dinner. If you chose right it'll even fit in the CheapEats price range
Disney's space ranger Buzz Lightyear returned from space on Sept. 11, aboard space shuttle Discovery's STS-128 mission after 15 months aboard the International Space Station. His time on the orbiting laboratory will celebrated in a ticker-tape parade together with his space station crewmates and former Apollo 11 moonwalker Buzz Aldrin on Oct. 2, at Walt Disney World in Florida. While on the space station, Buzz supported NASA's education outreach program-- STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics)--by creating a series of fun educational online outreach programs. Following his return, Disney is partnering with NASA to create a new online educational game and an online mission patch competition for school kids across America. NASA will fly the winning patch in space. In addition, NASA plans to announce on Oct. 2, 2009, the details of a new exciting educational competition that will give students the opportunity to design an experiment for the astronauts on the space station. Merry Christmas from ours to yours! Jack Jack and I are having quite the night playing Just Dance 3 and hanging out! I got him a Buzz Lightyear shirt for Christmas and he just had to put it on. He is positively my best bud. :)

A stinging insect today at Boone County Arboretum where Diaz and I took a walk. I thought it might be a bit cold but there were a surprising number of bees/wasps of all sorts.
Honestly didn't need to edit this I think but I wanted a tiny tweak or two..

Buzz has lived in this house for all of two days, and he's already broken. His rocket backpack fell off. I tried to get a shot of the damage, but he's such a prima donna that he refused to let me get a shot that didn't include his dimpled chin. And since his head doesn't turn, well, that didn't leave me with many options.
I'm in a weird mood today.
