Buzz A Rama, "The place to race"-- is the only slot car racing arcade remaining in the 5 boroughs of NYC. This place has been around for 45 years, and upon entering you feel like you have been caught in an 70's-80's time warp. From seeing the faces of the little (and big) kids here you know the Buzz has withstood the test of all the Nintendo, iphone games, etc.. This is a little secret gem located in the Kensington neighborhood of Brooklyn.

This is one of those advertisement plane things. Buzz, buzz, buzz.
Buzz Aldrin autographed his books "Magnificent Desolation" and "Look to the Stars" at the CR Smith museum in Fort Worth, TX.
I came outside one day recently to be greeted by the sound of bees buzzing ferociously in the guava tree.
Pollinate my pretties! I am both looking forward to, and dreading the crop this year. I am even thinking about a dehydrator to make up dried guava fruits. I wonder what they would taste like?
Have a Happy New Year everyone.
The Majorette VW ID.Buzz is still considered a fresh release and yet already it gets a new German Doctor themed Notarzt recolour which ties in with the new Global Emergency 10 vehicle set. A step up the ladder from the Hot Wheels equivalent which ensures more features such as an opening side door, working suspension and narrow clear lense headlights.
Mint and boxed.
So a lady at work rescued a rabbit that had been abandoned in a box at the side of the road a few weeks ago. Well. 8 weeks ago in fact. She'd had it a few days and it gave birth to 7 babies.
And so we are giving homes to 2 of them =) Went to see them tonight and these are the two we are having.
Buzz is the white one and Woody is the other.
My nephew chose their names (but of course, I don't mind at all, lol). And Buzz will officially be his but he will live at our house.
We have no idea if they are boys or girls but they will be getting "done" anyway so it doesn't really matter.
October 1976 when I was visiting Buzz at his farmhouse near Selinsgrove
One spring when Irene and Buzz were living in Benton we all drove up for a weekend and it was the first weekend of trout season. Buzz and I and a couple of other guys (can't remember who!) went over to Kitchen Creek early in the morning to see if we could catch a trout. Actually, Buzz just wanted to walk along the creek and watch. Through some miracle (I'm a terrible fisherman) I caught a trout which we immediately named Terry. Anyway, about four years ago I was writing some songs and I wrote a song about that day, changing the circumstances somewhat. It's called Kitchen Creek and it features two guys named Billy and Buzz. I was really writing about Buzz when I wrote that song. I've attached it so please share it with anyone you think would enjoy it. I will miss my good buddy.
Kitchen Creek
Billy and Buzz walkin’ along the banks of Kitchen Creek
All they had to do was nod, they didn’t have to speak
A deep pool by the bank, they knew the trout were there
Last stars fading above, frost still in the air.
They had the magic in their eyes
Smiled at the humor in their disguise
Around every corner a new surprise
Billy took his fishin’ pole, looked down at the pool
Cast his line in a rainbow arc, it sparkled like a jewel
A trout rose up took the fly, flashin’ in the sun
Ran down to the bottom of the hole, its battle had just begun
A look of wonder on Buzz’s face
Feeling in his soul he cannot trace
Shaking his head, an amazing place
Billy worked the tired trout to a shallow down the stream
Lifted the fish off the hook, iridescent like a dream
Cupped it in his gentle hands laid it on its side
It swam away and disappeared, Billy’s smile hard to hide
Billy and Buzz stood on the bank
Lookin’ around for someone to thank
Better than havin’ money in the bank
Billy and Buzz headed home, a brand new story to tell
They drank a beer and had a smoke, the morning had gone so well
The years went by they drifted apart, as buddies often will
But they remember the day on Kitchen Creek, dream about it still
They had the magic in their eyes
Laughed at the humor in their disguise
Every day a new surprise

This is my Border Collie dog, Buzz.
No, he's not a sheep dog like most Collie's but he's still a pretty good guard dog ! ^^
H'es going to be 4 on the 15th of July.
He's a funny carachter cause he needs time to get up in the morning - 7hoo is to early for him - he'll just go back to bed. ^^
He's is so unlucky - he got operated 3 times ( he's only 3 !!! ) and got a bad leg that we'll never really be normal - we just need to be carefull.
He dislikes water ! So odd for a dog - espacially a Border Collie ! He always " cries " when we clean his soft paws. ^^
He once got " zapped " by an electic fence and on the other side were sheep. So he is now scared of the electic fence & sheep and he looks very silly walking 1o meters away form the groupe of sheep ! ^^
But we all love him dearly and nerver, ever, ever, will forget him... <3
From communion on the moon to the spiritual hydration of America’s most desperate and down trodden members of society, we are proud to have astronaut Buzz Aldrin lend his auspicious name to the IAMWATERS charity effort.
He appreciates the nondenominational and uplifting words of hope, love and faith found on each bottle of water provided to these Americans who, for whatever circumstance, find themselves looking for the help of organizations such as ours. Buzz Aldrin is the first of many celebrities to join our effort. Stay in touch to see who’s next!
Today my daughter had a party, so us boys were left home alone.
We managed to tackle a racing car LEGO Technics model and built a kit that has a buzz wire and probe for you to try and make it to the end without it buzzing....
Although my daughter thought this was boring on her return and has quite annoyingly been trying to play a tune on it all afternoon...
another of my Disney blocks for my nephews quilt.
design by me.
unfortunatly I have a lot of work to do on this one before I release it. I may have to do the pattern from scratch again :/
