My scavenger hunt at the Iowa State Fair also had me thinking about a "buttoned up" picture that I might find for the 52 in 2019 Photo Challenge. It is fun how scavenger hunts will lead you to taking pictures you might not ordinarily do!
So, look at this! The seamstress won a first place blue ribbon for her entry. This looks like an attractive winner to proudly wear this upcoming winter! These blue ribbon prizes DO NOT come easily. Competition is fierce at the IA St. Fair!
Wednesday at the Iowa State Fair. Weather was in the high 70s. Can't beat that. Some sunshine, some clouds. Everyone seemed to be having a wonderful time!

27th February 2010: I've got a big box of buttons and these are these are a selection of ornate and jewelled ones!
Part of my "different ways to say shh!" collection in my Etsy shop. This is one of the kinder, more politer ways. Not the way I would *like* to say it. Maybe I'll succumb to the temptation to make the one I really want to say.
And then my place in Hell will be assured.

Red, black, and white shirting with smaller check contrast. I underlined the whole sleeve in the smaller check and added a sleeve tab so he could wear the sleeves rolled up all the time. The pointed portion of the sleeve placket is the perfect shape for a sleeve tab!
This pattern makes the nicest shirts possible!
