Excoecaria cochinchinensis (Chinese croton, blindness tree, buta buta, jungle fire plant) is a species of plant in the genus Excoecaria, which is a member of the family Euphorbiaceae. It is native to Southeast Asia and China. It is a subtropical evergreen shrub with a woody stem, growing up to 1–2 meters (3.3–6.6 ft) high. Its leaves are opposite, their texture shiny and papery, the upper surface dark green or variegated and the underside a deep maroon. The leaves measure 6–14 cm by 2–4 cm (2.4–5.5 in by 0.8–1.6 in). It is dioecious. Excoecaria cochinchinensis is cultivated as an ornamental tropical plant, greenhouse plant, or houseplant. A popular colorful cultivar is "Firestorm." 31307

Algèria 2015. La vida als campaments del Sàhara és molt exigent amb els seus humils habitants. Les temperatures a l'ombra poden arribar als 55 graus.
Sense recursos, sense cultius, només alguns animals acompanyen el dia a dia dels sahrauís.
Els ajuts internacionals alleugen el dolor. Cada família rep mensualment un quilo de llenties, mongetes, pasta, arròs, una mica de llet en pols i un litre d'oli per persona.
També un sac de farina i una bombona de butà.
La història del Sàhara, es remunta a la fi de 1975, quan Franco agonitzava a Espanya.
Marroc va agitar la 'Marxa Verda' per evitar el referèndum que l'ONU havia promès al poble sahrauí.
Davant la invasió de l'exèrcit marroquí, milers de sahrauís van fugir al desert. Algèria va cedir alguns quilòmetres de dunes per raons humanitàries als desplaçats.
A La Hamada de Tinduf, un barri en origen conflictiu, van aixecar els campaments de refugiats.

F-BUTA was noted at Riem on 6 June 1976.
Information from flickr - thanks to Ken Fielding:
First flown with the Fokker temporary registration PH-FEU in Jun-63, this aircraft was delivered to ANA All Nippon Airways in Jul-63 as JA8618. Ten Years later, in Jul-73, it was sold to TAT Touraine Air Transport as F-BUTA. In Mar-78 it was leased to Air Guadeloupe as F-OGIF and returned to TAT as F-BSIF in Mar-80. In Sep-80 it was sold to Air UK as G-BHMW. It was leased to BMA British Midland Airways in Dec-82 and returned to Air UK in Oct-83. In Jan-98, now aged 35 the aircraft was sold to WDL Flugdienst for spares. It was registered D-BAKK and stored at Essen, Germany, where it was broken up in Jun-99.

A volcanic plug, also called a volcanic neck or lava neck, is a volcanic object created when magma hardens within a vent on an active volcano. When present, a plug can cause an extreme build-up of pressure if rising volatile-charged magma is trapped beneath it, and this can sometimes lead to an explosive eruption. Glacial erosion can lead to exposure of the plug on one side, while a long slope of material remains on the opposite side. Such landforms are called crag and tail. If a plug is preserved, erosion may remove the surrounding rock while the erosion-resistant plug remains, producing a distinctive upstanding landform.
