The bright lights and colours of this newly built Sibylla drive-through caught my attention as I drove by. I saw my chance to practise shooting with long exposure since I've struggled a bit to get it right with this kind of lights. I had to climb atop a dirt noise barrier to get the shot from this angle (which was the one that caught my eye from the road!).
Yesterday it was announced that the legendary Isted Grill are for sale. The place has been there for 45 years, run by "Mr. Lee", making everything from flæskesteg sandwich to spring rolls. The photo here is from a few months ago, my wife got hungry when we where out for an evening walk and is standing in the door.

Happy Burger Day Everyone
Today, July the 4th 2020, the UK catches up to France and allows it people back to the pub/cafe/restaurant. Of course Sweden has been open for much longer still.
Sadly, today the city of Leicester and its many restaurants will remain quiet as the city takes a backward step.
I will go back to the pub and other venues when we are all treated like adults again. Still not buying alcohol in the supermarket.

They make my heart flutter - and yes, possibly because each time I have one, I am one step closer to having a heart attack. They are so rich that it's actually really hard for me to finish a whole one.

Old-fashioned diner (really a burger bar) in downtown Evanston, IL. Great eating here! It's called Edzo's Burger Shop on Davis and Sherman. Not to be missed if you are in Evanston. The guys at the counter and kitchen are very nice and seem to really love what they are doing. I love watching them create their masterpieces (!).
Sorry, no photos of the food. I was not able to resist to take a bite, chomp really, on the 8-ounce charbroiled burger with everything in it that I ordered (done the way I like it - medium rare) before I realized that I had to take a photo of it for my food spotting friends. What? That's a first. Oh well.
There's always a next time ... and several more.
