An intricated brilliant circular alive abstract for the Festivities, made in collaboration with six of my playful Lovebirds (all siblings, photographed last January when they were still puppies).
Here they seem to integrate with the decorations and lights by merging in the Christmas garland in a sort of camouflage :-))
I hadn't posted all the selected photos taken during that shooting of mine, therefore I thought a good recycling of the unedited ones is pro-active and much ecologic :-)
In reality, I would have tons of photos taken at my beloved parrots as well as at many other subjects but, in this moment, for me the editing and uploading is way too consuming.

They are "White-heads" cockatiels born in my family at the end of May 2021 from the couple in love Vicky & Hector.

Seasonal Holiday Cards 2021 .30. (Voting from Dec. 31).
I've taken this photo few days ago to test a shooting setting, this time in the ancient fire place where we set up a little Nativity landscape and the Christmas tree, a true bonsai where five of them are perched playing, especially tasting its thin branches but also biting the Christmas lights.
(After this test, I decided to do the Christmas shooting with the parrots in my studio but I kept this picture as a wishes card, worked it out by adding 3/4 fragments of other shots of mine for some details, some small portions of my hadmade digital drawing and processing it all with my edit).
It looks like a lil messy to me, but it is spontaneous, homy & cozy, the true atmosphere of the kitchen where we spend long times with our parrots.
Models: left Vittoria (the lil pallid lovebird child girl), further on the right, her blue siblings (boys & girls). It's interesting to me I can keep track of their birthdays and other important developments of my parrots when I post their pics on Flickr, a sort of diary helping me much when I need to recall certain pieces of information. They all look almost identical, anyway their names bear that of the Name's Day of when they are born. They can be females or males, it's too premature to know.

Vittoria (surely a female as her Daddy is a pallid "ino" factor forwarder that can generate albins but only of the female gender). She is born on AllSaintsDay, Nov. 1 2021.
If compared to my previously shared photos of when they were younger than a month of age, in this photo, shot 2 days ago, they are already around 2 months old and it sees how much they have grown both their size and their beautiful plumage in a deep turquoise colour with intense electric blue accents.
They can all fly now, even the smallest one just learnt few days ago. They play like crazy and when they are sleepy they love to stick together and what we see is just one blue fluffy cotton ball, accented by a tiny spot of optical white (Vittoria). She has been spoiled by all the brothers who keep cuddling, caressing and warming her. Wherever she flies or walks, they follow their lil sister to watch over her. They also part of their food feeding her every now and then. Now, like a true princess, she seems to be aimed at becoming the real boss.

New Challenge 210.0 ~ Seasonal Holiday Cards 2021 .30.
In un groviglio di lucette, addobbi, collane, perline e decorazioni varie e in un modo piuttosto disordinato ce l'abbiamo fatta con lo shooting delle festività di fine anno. I miei pappagalli hanno fatto quello che hanno potuto nel posare, io li ho osservati giocare e divertisti a mordere le luci e ad assaggiare il tronco di bonsai (vero) che loro usano come un luna park.
Finalmente ho qualche scatto in cui si vedono tutti e sei, fratellini e sorelline, abbastanza bene. Sono come topolini e si muovono velocemente, perciò non é apparso facilissimo tenerli tutti a fuoco. E' stato comunque un gran divertimento per tutti.
Senza nemmeno pianificarlo, gli inseparabili sono diventati parte viva e attiva della decorazione di S. Silvestro.
Lo scatto é avvenuto in studio in piena oscurità, all'infuori delle lucine dell'addobbo.
Lettering a parte, la foto é rielaborata ed editata per correggere colori e luminosità, sfalsati dal bagliore dei led e soprattuto per restituire alcune micro luci che,sul più bello,non si sono accese.
In a tangle of lights, decorations, beads, necklaces, ornaments and in a rather messy way we did it with the shooting of the end of year holidays. I hurried up making this seasonal greetins card as our best wishes for a Happy New Year. My parrots did what they could in posing... I watched them playing and having fun together, tasting & biting the lights and chewing on the true bonsai trunk they use as a Luna Park.
Finally I have some shots in which all of the six sibiling can be seen quite well. They are like lil mices and move very fast, so it was not that easy to keep them all in focus. It was still great fun for everyone.
Without even planning it, the lovebirds have become a living and active part of the New Year's Eve decoration.
The shot took place in the studio in complete darkness, apart from the decoration lights.
Beside the lettering, to edit this Wishes card I had to rework and edit my photo in order to adjust both colours and lighting, offset by the glare of the LEDs and above all to return some micro lights that, at best, did not turn on.
