These little Grey Tree Frogs are so much fun. They are not spooky, and they are singing their little hearts out. Our immediate neighborhood did not seem to have them, yet, with this Covid-19 ... they appeared.
Aghhhh I'm so happy that I have finally found the perfect items to recreate one of my all time faves concept art pieces done by Bungie. Here you have an Arcstrider Hunter and his Ghost inside Titan's Arcology. ⚡
Side note: I might probably continue the series and do a Warlock and Titan next, keep an eye out for that. 👀
By the way, if you haven't played the game yet, ya better do - I have an obsession for it but I will never admit it. Or will I? 😉

My mate lent me his helmet from the computer game called Halo. I took it home and light painted it.
Sweep of diffused torch from left to right at F16 then gelled my torch orange and added the black fiber optic brush and changed to F1.4
I love how the shallow dof has created extra depth to the orange fiber trails. There will be more using this I'm sure.

A black cat was fence sitting in the 800 block of East 10th Avenue in Vancouver's Mount Pleasant district.
Cat was keeping an eye on us as we passed.
Little Bungie wasn't too impressed by my photography set. After a nice cuddle she sat back on her travel basket, as you can see. Shortly afterwards she went under the hessian fabric and poked her nose out.
As you know, kitten misbehaviour is something I take very seriously, which is precisely why I will be sharing a photograph of bad Bungie peaking out from under the hessian at the weekend...
A quick fig with a relatively new helmet piece while I'm working on getting other things together. The back armor is a leaf piece!

9 months ago, when Brickwarriors posted the first images of his sniper mold, I posted a comment that I would paint one up. Took me long enough, as all customs do, but I finally delivered!
I've got more legitimate brick-built MOCs coming up, so for those of you who aren't very interested in painting and sculpting, hang tight.
This paintjob is based on the "FINAL BOSS" sniper from the game (ref image link). I don't actually own Destiny, but it seems to be full of wonderful art and Ryan's rifle mold is just too good to pass up an opportunity to honor Bungie's newest franchise.
Made some upgrades to the Scorpion
-shortened the body by 2 studs
-shortened the barrel
-changed the light pieces on the front track pods to trans black tiles
With his mind on the game.

A build a year in the making, this has been so much fun to build. The majority was built live on stream over at my Twitch channel.
This is based on "The Divide" area in my favourite video game, Destiny.

These are the standard infantry Halo Marines I made, based on Halo CE Anniversary and Halo: Reach.
The helmet mod is NOT easy to do. If you're going to try to make the same mod, I wish you luck. This is the helmet I modified, for those who don't know.
After 3 years of waiting, she's finally done.
A lot of time was spent trying to figure out this build and I think I've finally gone through enough rebuilds that I can be satisfied with the tank. That being said, I still think work needs to be done, especially because the body seems a bit too long.
Regardless, the tank is based on the Halo Reach design and features independent track pod suspension as well as a turret that can rotate and elevate.
Here's my Warlock, I hope you like him. He's a fairly simple figure, and I know my sculpting skills aren't the best, but I think I did pretty good. I know the BrickForge ammo pouch is a bit much. I realized that after I had already glued it on. And I didn't want to take it of , for fear of taking paint off with it. I also don't have a weapon for him. I'm working on a Hunter, which I should be uploaded in about a week. Tell me what you think of the Warlock. In case anyone was wondering, I based this on img3.wikia.nocookie.net/__cb20140731022401/destinypedia/i....
I overmolded the BrickArms Fusion Rifle two weekends ago at the BrickArms workshop!
This weapon, along with the hand-cannon previously posted, has never been overmolded before, until I did them both.
This specific overmold turned out different than a few others, due to the swirl at the front instead of the barrel being silver, but I like it. It's different.
oh, and I guess that's my destiny crate too, huh?

From the bungie cord held cardboard "sun screen" on the out side of the front windshield to protect the upholstery to the "modern" (but broken off in keeping with the car's aesthetic patina) side mirrors. This bad boy still runs.
There is a powerful advantage to a camera that can focus at the speed of life and that is more silent than a breath held expectant. You can truly create a place when the spirt of the subject can hide in your camera.
There is no camera system that has a better or more powerful one. This image was was shot using highlight center metering.
Shot with the AMAZING Z9. The Z9 is more camera than I am photographer.

Warlock, Hunter and Titan
I haven't had time or money to buy the game yet but I found some art and had some Brickarms lying about. Plus I had Dave Halls fantastic Hunter.
I made some floating orb helper thingies but as usual managed to forget them when I was going to Gmanvespas house to do photos. Might edit them in later eh glen ;)
