The backlight on the flowers drew me to this scene, then the bumblebees came on the scene and changed my focus (pun intended). At Sitka Sedge at the Oregon coast.

Bumble Bees on Gaiiardia Flower
The garden is buzzing with all sorts of Bumble Bees
but hardly any Honey Bees.
I was taking closeup shots of the flowers in my mother's beautiful garden when this fuzzy bumble bee landed right in front of me! It was one of those times when the universe was working to my advantage and a very memorable moment.

………It was the crooked chimney that took my eye! Another mono from Bishops Castle in Shropshire. No age plaque on this one but it looks very Tudorish but could be a little bit older than the one I posted yesterday. Alan:-)……

This is my husband's camera.... I find his pictures are always out of focus, so I wanted to see if it was him, the camera, or the lens...
I will admit, I think it's the lens, especially looking at this up close... I took over 20 shots and these were the only two that I feel came out decent... next I will try his camera with one of my lenses and see how that goes...
