The heather made such a stunning backdrop, and Dexter was just as beautiful — full of character and love.

Sadly, Dexter has since crossed the rainbow bridge 🌈

He was an amazing boy, and I truly hope he’s at peace now. It was an honour to capture these memories for his family.

I'd love to photograph more dogs in the heather this year — it really does make for such a special setting.

Because the glow makes it look so nice against his fur!

I just wanted to say a quick thank you for your patience — I decided to take a well-needed break from social media lately. Life has been pretty chaotic between photography sessions, work, and my dogs, so I needed some time to reset and refocus. 💛

Here's a recent photo of Helix up on Darwen Moors — one of our favourite peaceful spots. 🌿 It's quiet, no dogs around, and it gives us the perfect space to train, explore, and unwind.

Our little boy snuggled up on the couch like a bug in a rug. He enjoys it when we're both at home and he gets some quality couch time in. He was extra cute today, giving me a chance to get some test shots with the Sony A100 and Sony 50mm f/1.4 lens I recently picked up.
