Mr.Bully is one of the residents in Monkey Island in Panama Canal. He was bullying everyone out of his way.
A group of nearly 10 monkeys jumped into the boat expecting some snacks from the boatman, climbed all over us without any fear. Inspite of our objection, our boatman fed them banana pieces, he had a a small container full of banana pieces cut and ready for distribution. I doubt if they will ever come near the boats if it is not for the snacks!!!
The Geoffroy's tamarin is also known as the Red-crested tamarin or the Rufous-naped tamarin. The Geoffroy's tamarin has a very distinctive "v" shaped mark on its head and has no fur on its face. It is found in the tropical forests of Panama and Colombia in South America, it is the smallest Central American monkey 8.9" to 9.4" length excluding tail.
Many thanks to all those who view, fav or comment my pictures. It is much appreciated.

Florida's bald eagles are considered part of the southern subspecies which nests in Florida, Mexico, the southern Atlantic states, Louisiana, Texas, Oklahoma, Arizona and southern California. Southern bald eagles tend to be smaller than the northern subspecies, and they nest in winter instead of spring.
The bald eagle (Haliaeetus leucocephalus) is unique to North America. It belongs to a group of avians known as fish or sea eagles. Of the eight fish eagles that exist worldwide, only one, the bald eagle, is found in the Western Hemisphere.
Eagles normally nest in the same area, and sometimes the same tall tree, year after year, yet they often travel thousands of miles between seasons. As primarily fish and carrion eaters, most of Florida's nesting eagles are found within a mile of a coastline or some permanent year-round body of water. Unlike ospreys, which are often confused for bald eagles, eagles usually avoid nesting in man-made structures such as channel markers, utility poles and the like. They prefer live trees.
Florida's bald eagles nest at a time contrary to that in other parts of the country. Elsewhere, bald eagles nest in the spring and summer when food is at its most abundant. Florida eagles, on the other hand, nest in winter when prey is plentiful throughout the peninsula. For instance, in the dry winter season, fish are more concentrated when ponds shrink or dry up.
It's believed that bald eagles are able to spot items two or three times farther away than humans. Their vision, among the best of all living animals, is what the eagles rely on to hunt their prey. They typically use their feet to snare and kill their prey.
When capturing another bird in flight, the eagle will fly below its prey, turns upside down and snatches the victim by its breast. When fishing, the bald eagle is a stunning, majestic sight as it swoops down and grabs a fish with its talons, often not even getting its legs wet.
However, as Ben Franklin (who wanted the turkey as our national symbol) noted, bald eagles are of definite "bad moral character" since they steal food from other birds. The neighborhood bully, the bald eagle may swipe food from ospreys, which share the same kind of habitat, and they also steal from other eagles as well.
I found this bully along Joe Overstreet Road in Osceola County, Florida.
It chased the chickadees , nuthatches and pine siskins off the feeder so it could have some black oil sunflower seeds. The colors in their feathers are just amazing.

Last Friday's 6Z21 was running at such a pace that I fancied I might be able to get another bite of it further north.
A traffic free drive from Parton enabled me to reach the site of the old Bullgill station about two minutes ahead of 68021, the two 37s and JXA.

Oz is smaller than Crash but he intimidates the larger cat to get what he wants.
Usually Oz wants whichever box Crash is in, so he sits on top of Crash until he gets his way.
Crash was named due to his habit on running around and crashing into things, knocking things off shelves and, in one case knocking a shelf right out of the wall.
They are indoor cats.
I love feeding all birds, but when the House Finch arrive they make sure they get there fill and chase the rest away. At one of our feeders......

Every year geese and ducks flock to the Duck Pond in Norman, Oklahoma to raise their goslings. I was out photographing some of the amazing moments when I noticed the white goose grabbing the goslings and holding them underwater over and over again. The parents looked on helplessly as this continued until the brown goose pictured decided enough was enough and stood up for little ones.
I was certainly being watched as Black Five 45407 headed towards Stubbins Lane on a move from Bury to Carnforth prior to its move to Fort William. The smokebox door sported a blue number and was accompanied by the chalked message - RIP Fletch.

I'm not an idiot, I know you were bullying me. Yes, I deleted you from my facebook. No! That doesn't make you the victim! So stop acting like I'm some big bitch when you're the one that made my life a living hell for five years. You can stop pretending you liked me and admit that you didn't. That you don't actually care that I'm not on your facebook, that you were probably going to delete me after a few months anyways. Admit that you only care because I got the satisfaction of clicking that little grey X first, and that I got the last say instead of you.
Stick that in your juice box and suck it, bitches.
Sincerely,
~Penny
(Sorry for the ranty-rant, I needed to get that out anywhere other than facebook. It's funny how after a year these girls still care. Kind of sad, actually. Can't they just face the truth and get over it?)
