Ho sempre praticato sport, dall'età di cinque anni, e l'ho anche sempre seguito (@zaytsev_official the best!): dal mio primo amore, il nuoto 🌊, la ginnastica ritmica, la pallavolo... Nel 1994, un anno topico, ho iniziato a praticare karate e conosciuto la mia migliore amica @manuela.grassi.7737, diventando in seguito I Dan cintura nera. Poi sono tornata di nuovo all'amato nuoto. Quando mi sono trasferita, nel 2003, ho avuto momenti in cui alternavo il nuoto a lunghe pause, poi una (deplorevole) fase di zumba che non mi ha portato alcun tipo di beneficio, per approdare al crossfit nel 2016, che ho adorato.

Purtroppo la palestra ha chiuso dopo pochi mesi, ma io ormai avevo scoperto la ghisa, così mi sono attrezzata, un pezzo alla volta, e seguito prima le guide di @kayla_itsines (senza troppa soddisfazione, in realtà) e poi sono approdata finalmente al programma di @umbertomiletto. Ora, a distanza di quasi due anni, e con il secondo volume in corso, alternato a un po' di cardio tratto da @bodybossmethod (soprattutto nelle pause estive, ho preferito il cardio con sessioni di pesi alleggerite per il mantenimento) e a lunghe passeggiate, sono piuttosto soddisfatta nel vedere anche su carta i miei progressi, nel sentirmi meglio fisicamente, più forte e tonica 💪💪.

Ovviamente, all'esercizio fisico va abbinato un corretto regime alimentare.

E voi, lo tenete un fitness tracker?

New year, new fitness tracker. Ks flourished from past October 😁

It was an exhausting week, a new record for my bruises collection (I think I have currently twelve different marks on my skin) and I had kind of an epiphany: I have to improve my attitude towards the all-against-one sparring. Even if being a former black belt karateka helps me to instantly catch the techniques, control my hits, throw strong and perfect straight punches and kicks, because of it I also have patterns to break and muscle memory to fight against. And the traditional concept of difense and counterattack doesn't exactly fit with close contact disciplines like #KravMaga and #Система.

My instructor often waves us: "Cattive, mi raccomando" (Be bad) because in real fights you don't have the luxury to be "correct", you cannot wait for the attack, you have to act in one time e keep hitting, and you have to learn how to do it and handle the stress during the training classes.

Just started my second #bulletjournal! I can't believe a year passed since I approached this world. So glad I did!

I decided to switch to other fonts inspiration for my new bu-jo: #Bristol for the headlines, #SummerLemonade for the duo combinations; I kept writing the months in #AutumnInNovember.

This monthly spread (I have monthly To-do list and Habit Trackers in the following pages, which I forgot to photograph 😅) worked perfectly for me this past year, so I kept the layout for the new bullet journal.
