A cloudy sky in between rain showers, however, I truly enjoyed this wide angle view of purple hyacinths, No tourists as yet...just me and my camera.

Overigens, let niet op de winterbanden die toen nog op mijn MiTo lagen. De wieldoppen werden thuis schoongemaakt.

March 7, 2016: Crazy weather today-2 seasons in one day: Wintertime in the morning with snow and blue skies and sunny weather this afternoon.
It certainly lifted my mood and I set off and found this bulbfield with flowering croci....
Crocus (English plural: crocuses or croci) is a genus of flowering plants in the iris family comprising 90 species of perennials growing from corms. Many are cultivated for their flowers appearing in autumn, winter, or spring

Niet alleen de Giulietta is Italiaans, ook de Franse 504 sedan, de Berline, heeft Italiaanse genen. Het ontwerp komt namelijk van de hand van de Italiaanse ontwerper Aldo Brovarone, wie ook bekend was van de Dino 206 GT en de Lancia Gamma Coupé. Signore Brovarone werkte voor Carrozzeria Pininfarina en overleed vorig jaar op 94-jarige leeftijd.
Nog een opmerkelijk weetje over de 504: in Europa stopte de productie van het model in 1983, maar in Zuid-Amerika en Afrika ging het nog jaren door. De sedan, pick-up en stationwagen werd in Kenia nog tot 2004 gebouwd en in Nigeria bleef de sedan en stationwagen zelfs nog tot 2006 in productie. Daar is deze klassieker dus pas vijftien jaar uit productie!

The design comes from the Italian designer Aldo Brovarone, who was also known for the Dino 206 GT and the Lancia Gamma Coupé. Signore Brovarone worked for Carrozzeria Pininfarina and passed away almost a year ago at the age of 94.
A remarkable fact about the 504: in Europe, production of the model stopped in 1983, but in South America and Africa it continued for years. The sedan, pick-up and station wagon was built in Kenya until 2004 and in Nigeria the sedan and station wagon remained in production until 2006. So this classic has only been out of production there for fifteen years!

Een rondje toeren langs de bollenvelden in de Kop van Noord-Holland. Helaas zat het weer niet echt mee.
Goed moment om gelijk even mijn nieuwe camera te testen, de Canon EOS M50 systeemcamera met 18-150mm lens.

Dark clouds and sunshine over the tulip fields. A few seconds later it started to hail.
We made a tulip-tour today.

It is very cold for this time of the year. We had rain, snow and hail today. The tulips flower late. Lots of fields do not bloom yet.
