Storm buildup just to our northeast! Spotty showers and a few t-storms have occurred this day as a weather system pushed thru the region. I miss this autumn-like weather pattern! Pics taken from around Stockton, CA. (Sunday afternoon, October 2, 2016)
Weather update:
The weather was feeling like fall... The high pressure ridge that was over our region has weakened and had moved eastward. Now, a cold low pressure area was dropping southward along the coast. The low was to continue southward and then move over Northern California this day of Sunday, October 2, 2016. Thunderstorms were also possible Sunday afternoon, especially for the Central Valley regions in NorCal. (Some interesting weather has occurred around the valley this afternoon as well.) The low was to move east by Sunday evening and the shower activity was to end. Then by Monday, a weak low pressure trough was to move across the region. This was to bring more clouds and showers to areas of NorCal by Monday afternoon and evening. Skies were forecast to be clearing by Tuesday as the trough moves eastward and high pressure slowly rebuilds along the coast...
