Day 240
The old McDonalds is still open while the new building is being built. It makes for some headaches for the people working at the construction site and the old place.
The Born Makers marketing campaign for the 2015 Chrysler 200 is featured as the company's building wrap at its Auburn Hills, Mich., headquarters.
“‘Born Makers’ reminds us that it’s not just dreaming big ideas, but also having the ingenuity and commitment to make them happen,” said Chrysler Group Chief Marketing Officer Olivier Francois.
The Born Makers ads are narrated by Kevin Yon and feature Detroit-born artist/singer MoZella, performing the vocals behind Bob Dylan’s “Things Have Changed” track. The commercial’s visuals include footage of the home of the Chrysler 200, our Sterling Heights (Mich.) Assembly Plant and its employees.

These wraps are illegal. They violate San Diego ordinances regarding signage advertising. The hotels understand that they will be fined, sometimes to the tune of $10,000, but they get paid much more than that from the studios that commission the wrap. The hotels just consider it a cost of doing business. Of course, they are also trying to get the law changed.
