Steble Fountain, Liverpool
The Steble Fountain is located on William Brown Street, immediately to the west of another famous Liverpool monument, Wellington’s Column. The fountain is named after Lieutenant Colonel Richard Fell Steble, a local army officer and former Mayor of Liverpool, who paid for the construction of a fountain on the site. Designed by Paul Lienard, it was unveiled in 1879.
The Steble Fountain is formed from cast iron, and comprises a 30 foot circular basin, with a tower rising from its centre. At the top of the tower are statues of four marine gods – Neptune, Amphitrite, Acis and Galatea. The fountain is 23 feet high, and is a Grade II* listed monument.
The water which flows through Steble Fountain is driven by an electric pump housed in the basement of nearby St. George’s Hall. The original steam pump was replaced when the noise began to disrupt sessions in the hall’s court rooms. The fountain was restored in 1992 as part of the city’s preparations for its hosting of the Tall Ships Race.

Langdale is known to archaeologists as the source of a particular type of Neolithic polished stone axe head, created on the slopes of the Pike of Stickle and traded all over prehistoric Great Britain and Europe. It also supplied stone for some Bronze Age items, such as stone wrist-guards. Neolithic cup and ring marks are found on the Langdale Boulders at Copt Howe. The Langdale Valley runs west of Ambleside up to the Langdale Pikes. Pike is a local term for peak.

Den Haag Central Station
The station was constructed in 1905-1906 by the Mobile & Ohio Railroad and was designed by architect P. Thorton Mayre; the total cost was $575,000. The style is most likely Mission Revival Style. The Gulf, Mobile & Ohio Railroad (successor company to the Mobile & Ohio Railroad) vacated the building in 1986. After standing vacant for a number of years, the building was purchased by the City of Mobile and rehabilitated. Today the building is the headquarters office for the Metro Transit Authority, the local bus company. The original location of the tracks and platforms behind the building is now a parking lot and bus station. The building accommodates a number of businesses and is a good example of adaptive reuse.

Through a city of ruin I walk,
My footsteps loud in the hush,
Every road I walk leads me nowhere,
Art and Culture mean nothing,
Not when man plays God.

Conwy castle a medieval fortress still towers over the town of Conwy after 700 years, It’s enough to take the breath away. Especially when you consider that King Edward I and his architect Master James of St George built both castle and walls in a barely believable four years between 1283 and 1287.

Constitution Hill provides good views of the Aberystwyth, and the sightline extends as far as Snowdonia National Park and north Pembrokeshire.
Since 1896, the Aberystwyth Cliff Railway has ascended to the hill's summit, and the summit features a camera obscura, which is a 1980s rebuild of a Victorian era building which was erected as part of the "Luna Park" recreation area.
At its peak runs the Clarach Footpath on the Wales Coast Path, which connects the town of Aberystwyth with Clarach Bay. Nearby is the Borth – Clarach Site of Special Scientific Interest. The hill itself is often referred to as "Consti" by locals.
