The Oshawa Military and Industrial Museum (Map) is an accredited Canadian Forces Museum located in Oshawa, Ontario, Canada. The museum, more commonly known as The Ontario Regiment (RCAC) 'Ferret Club', traces its roots in Oshawa to 1980, having grown to become the Historic Vehicle Section of the Ontario Regiment (RCAC) Museum. The museum's maintainers are a uniquely skilled and dedicated group of volunteer civilian military vehicle enthusiasts and include several current and former members of The Ontario Regiment (RCAC), other units of the Canadian Forces, the Canadian Army, Royal Canadian Armoured Corps, Royal Canadian Electrical and Mechanical Engineers, Royal Canadian Army Service Corps and the Royal Canadian Army Cadets. I have become a pro at reading architectural drawings. (ok, not really, but...) My customers just drop the plans by and I need to figure out what Signs go on what doors, walls, exits, etc. At first I was like "I'll never be able to figure this out" but, who knew? Of course, my brain (and eyes) is fried after reading all the little details for hours. Argh. Anywho...
Happy Monochrome Monday, friends!
In 1972 Home Building Plan Services of Portland Oregon released a book of 100 home plans targeted at the vast numbers of Portlanders who face the challenge of building on a "sloping lot". The Skelton family ranch, nestled in the SW hills of Portland, is built on a predominant sloping hill, so I was especially excited to see this book.
Unfortunately, no credit is given to the artist who created the wonderful watercolor illustrations of the floor plans.
Note: not pictured in this set are the blueprints and text that accompanied each floor plan.

Oh yeah.
This is Rico, a friend of mine, who joint me shooting UrbEx last week.
We had a lot of fun and awesome shots taken together.
My wonderful girlfriend Mandy and me went to Bremen for the weekend.
It was really really nice, well, not the city, but the weekend itself.
We went to Primark for shopping and wandered around this very uninviting, small and cold city.
You really dont need to have visited this city. Really.
In other news:
I am amazed to tell you that I just passed the 1.000.000 Click Mark!
I am active on flickr for about 3 years now and its just awesome how many people give me feedback for my artwork and visit me over and over again.
I met so many interesting, cool, amazing people here, made friends, and had awesome times at several places of the world with flickrites.
Thanks for that!
I developed a lot due to your feedback, and its also the reason I am still here.
I am addicted to flickr, and to the people that publish their work on here.
I hope I am here for years to come!
Thanks!

The Co-op had plans to extend its building in 1912 and create a furniture warehouse. It was proposed that a mirror image of the existing building be built thus doubling the size of the structure. The planning permission was granted in 1915, but due to the decline in demand for goods following the outbreak of war, it was never built.

Assemblage
The beauty of the assemblage is that, since it lacks organization, it can draw into its body any number of disparate elements. The book itself can be an assemblage, but its status as an assemblage does not prevent it from containing assemblages within itself or entering into new assemblages with readers, libraries, bonfires, bookstores, etc.
