Build update on the MU/TH/UR 6000 chamber - ALIEN 79 - Nostromo 1:18 scale. Possibly my last bit of updates to the MU/TH/UR build. Waiting on some resin to cast the control panels to the entryway door then this project will be tabled and figure sculpting will commence! Will finish the control chair as well. I'll be needing to create a shell that will encompass the chamber along with the corridor leading to the entrance from the bridge. It will need to allow room for the fiber optics to set in. If it's ever to be put on display, it will be tricky. I'll have to cross that bridge when I come to it. A shot showing the "before and after" of the Ash Jumpsuit sculpt - ALIEN 79 - 1:18 scale. The "naked" frame to the left and the completed sculpt (with ALT head sculpt) to the right. 17 points of articulation...some better than others. Sculpted using Aves FIXIT. Of all the figures I have created for the ALIEN 79 series, Ash is the one I have invested the most time with - so many variants. Kane is a close second. Saying that any of characters from this opera is my favourite would be a lie, however after doing some research I can honestly say that I really like the story :)

My entry to Phase IV of LUGPol's Building Better Worlds competition.
The task was to build 'something' using as little different types of bricks as it is possible. Colour has no matter. You were obliged to use at least 50 pieces.
As most of MOCs published so far are build with only ONE type of brick, I was trying hardly to fit my work in that trend. I am not happy with the result.
