For one side of the Peltier to be cold, the opposite side gets hot. This heat needs to be dissipated. The fin stack and fan take care of that.

The bottom side of the Peltier sits a copper block that actually cools the loop as the water passes through it.

This is my power button, reset button, and LEDs that show power and hard drive activity.

This is the copper block fastened to the mainboard over the CPU.

Testing with fans to make sure everything does what I want

this takes power from the PC and powers the pump, the sensors, the controller, and the cooler.

I was using the Oscilloscope to check the signals from the controller, and feedback from the sensors.

before the loop was complete, still needed big fan

I have the power distribution set up, but am controlling the components manually. The sensors and controller are not working yet.

I just screwed it to the side of the thing.

All pieces on the prototype, breadboard, and getting ready to solder

Second stage of design is creating a prototype from the breadboard.

just trying to get all the electronics to fit.

this is the assembly under the copper block. The CPU is the silver square in the middle. The long screws are for attaching the block.
