I'm finally running again.
I've been working with ^Andy^ over at www.insanelymac.com to try and get his new bugfix package working on my setup. It resolves the issue with DVD Player & Geekbench crashing. (Also possibly source games failure to launch.)
I've tried about a dozen iBoot + Retail Snow Leopard installs and couldn't make it work properly. (Always got garbled screens at boot and still couldn't load the apps anyways.)
I decided it wasn't worth the headache anymore and went back to a basic iATKOS S3 V2 install and ^Andy^'s ATI kexts and I'm running like I always was.

I still think Hubble Deep Space images make the best multi-monitor wallpapers.

The software in my camera that automatically recognizes the presence of my BFF John within its immediate proximity is a work-in-progress. I'm at the stage where false-positives are increasingly rare and increasingly subtle.
Take this image, which I found on the memory card when I retrieved my camera from its window mount and disengaged the software. I really can't fault it for misidentifying this random patron.
1) Flattened-oval wirerim glasses;
2) Chestnut hair in a ponytail;
3) Interesting tee shirt;
4) Often associated with that basic kind of jacket.
5) Taller than average without being silly about it.
6) Many points of facial convergence with reference images on file.
7) Facial hair correct for season. The next day, at the official start of autumn, John would have begun to grow a goatee.
So I've updated the software with a couple of corrections:
A) John has more hair than this;
B) Tee shirt is almost always film or comic-related; there have been no confirmed field sightings of political-themed tee shirts (though the humor and attitude towards hippies is correct);
C) That color jacket is associated with John's authentic licensed Lucasfilm "Luke Skywalker in Bespin/Dagobah" jacket from "The Empire Strikes Back," which has been retired.
We're getting there. I think I should have this software ready for golden master in a few months. Then I'll make a mint selling it to microbreweries, comic book shops, movie theaters...when this software is patched into their security cameras, it'll give the proprietors enough early notice to get some of the more lucrative and esoteric merch from backrooms and down from shelves, and to impress upon the staff the importance of giving such an influential customer every courtesy and service possible during his visit.

I'm pleased to announce the release of a new version (v2.1a) of the F*** B*** Purity Greasemonkey script ( a script to clean up your Facebook homepage).
The script hides annoying application messages and friend updates i.e "joined a group","became a fan", "attending an event", "became friends with" from your facebook homepage. It also lets you show them if you are curious, via the "Show" and "Hide" links that get inserted at the top of the page.
This is mainly a bugfix release, fixing the logic of the "Hide" and "Show" links.
Get the script and installation instructions etc here:

Happy Halloween!
P.S Theres also a fan page for the script here: Fluff Busting Purity - Fan Page join up for the latest news and info on releases etc

Binaries for XP and Vista.
Universal Mac binaries are now also available.

New features:
- New color features: a 'random color' operator with different palettes (random hue, random rgb, greyscale, sampling from image, or from user-defined list).
- Now uses two independent (Mersenne Twisters) random number generators: one for geometry and one for colors.
- Upgraded to Qt 4.5.0. Now Structure Synth is dual licensed under GPL and LGPL.
- Added 'blend {color} {strength}' operator.
- Added 'set seed initial' for syncing random seed.
- Added 'set maxsize ...' and 'set minsize ...'.

- Added support for drag'and'drop (drop a .es file onto the clipboard).
- Added simple GUI for manipulating preprocessor defines.
- Added templates by Neon22 and Groovelock to the distribution.
Minor changes and bug fixes:
- Added close icon to tabs.
- Applied more aggressive optimization on Windows build (SSE2/fast fp-math). SSE2 is now required!
- Fixed a bug where a recursive rule (not producing objects) could fill memory.
- Added export of background color to templates.
- BugFix: The scrollwheel can now be used to zoom again.
- PovRay template export has been restored. The Camera export still needs some work, but it should be usable again.

sometimes the IR read routine would interfere with the LCD write routine. this was what you'd see, before I applied the bug-fix ;)

essentially this ESX hypervisor media will install on anything with 96MB ram now. hackish hack, but better than previous attempts to change the definition of a gigabyte to 512mb.
note the use of "install" and not "run". temporary hack to let me use factory ram whilst more is shipped
(1*128-32)bytes*1024 =96mb

Not ideal (free-standing TO-220), but tolerable for a bug-fix. The diode's characteristics are quite good.
Here's the Hearing tab of the Universal Access pane in System Preferences. The screen is set to flash, because that's the only kind of system alert I can get.
Turning this off doesn't change anything, btw.
I just received the first G1 firmware update OTA (over the air). Seems like minor bugfixes, I haven't seen any significant changes yet but also didn't face any problems before.
Bichitos de toda clase.

Here are the contents of /System/Library/Components/CoreAudio.component/Contents/Resources/SystemSounds. These all play just fine through QuickTime Player.

You still have to connect the unconnected front connection of the power jack with the unconnected hole on the megarduino board. t's not enough to use the side connector for this (as we tried in this picture) because the two are not connected to each other anymore as soon as you plug in the connector.
If you have an sanguino board ignore this it's been fixed in the new version.
