This bug was huge and has a bizarre story behind it. Ask us sometime. (A hint: it came from B's place of work. Ahem.)
This set of Bug picture were taken with the L10 and Raynox 250. Right now I do not have the right close up lens and had to use the Raynox despite of the vignetting.
The picture was actually taken with some extension tubes and I forgot to set the right focal length from camera, so it's not 18mm, but something like 3x90mm ;)
Plant bug having a drink. Saw this fly off my coat when I had come inside after a walk. Trapped it and gave it a drop of sugar/honey syrup to feed on. Focus stacked using zerene
Moved around far too much for me to get a decent shot! Lol!

A pair of dock bugs (Coreus marginatus) "making the beast with two heads", ensuring the continuation of the species, behind the community centre.
I came across this Assassin Bug on a tombstone at the old Hollins University graveyard in Roanoke VA - October 2008. I didn't know what kind of bug this was when I took this photo -- I looked it up later on the web. If I had known about it's extremely painful bite, I might not have gotten this close to it.
