Coccinella transversalis, commonly known as the transverse ladybird[1] or transverse lady beetle is a species of ladybird beetle found from India across southern and southeastern Asia to Malesia and Australia.

Like many species of ladybirds, the transverse ladybird plays an important role in agriculture as it preys on a wide array of plant-eating insects which damage crops, particularly early in the growing season.

And this is not only a visualization bug, no, this error is rendered in the image!

System:

-- Adobe Photoshop CC, newest update

-- Geforce, GTX 750 Ti, newest drivers

-- 16 Gig RAM, Intel i5, 3,2 GHz, Win 7 64 Bit

That Graphics card is (was, for one year) normally the perfect Photoshop workhorse and now this ....

The errors are gone, the moment I switch-off GPU acceleration, but who wants that ..?!

UPDATE

...my window. Any ideas what it is??

Bug is quite persistent.

My first macro attempt at a ladybird.

With the weather turning colder I thought I'd post the last of the bug pictures for the year. Wait, are there snow bees?

The bugs seem to love the California poppies in my garden at the moment. I guess it's the bright orange colour which attracts them.

Chrysomia Rufifacies. I've seen my fair share of their larvae in my time but not such a docile adult fly as this one. Maybe it was because they were too busy preening itself.

No post processing other than a crop. They've got some nice colours to them, that's for sure.
