Buddha relic dome of Bao'en temple heritage park.
It's said there are 4200 lights on the dome, which are reflected on the glass floor, which doubles the amount.
It's also said the lights keep rotating in seven changing colors.

Lamium amplexicaule, a popular spring wildflower of the mint family, is called 'Hotokenoza’ (Buddha's seat) in Japanese, since its foliage reminds us of Buddha's lotus seat. In the viewfinder it looked as if little Buddhas were standing upon their seats and looking around the world.
Lamium amplexicaule (henbit or henbit dead-nettle) is a winter annual herb native to Eurasia and northern Africa, and has spread around the world, including Japan, probably with agriculture.
The great Buddha at the temple Tennō-ji next to the Yanaka cemetery, Tokyo.
This sculpture was created in 1690 by Ota Kyuemon - it has been moved from its original place in 1874 (due to the construction of the cemetery), and it saw repair-work in 1933. The English translation of the sign next to it says it's a copper statue, but I suspect something is a bit lost in translation and it is actually a bronze statue. You can't really see the size here, but the sitting figure has the height of a (tall) grown man. It is generally referred to as Tennō-ji Daibutsu (天王寺大仏: The great Buddha at the Tennō temple).

Quinta dos Loridos, where the impressive Buddha Eden - the largest oriental garden in Europe, can be found. The oriental garden with around 35 hectares of land was created as a reaction to the destruction of the Buddhas of Banyan, in which one of the greatest acts of cultural barbarity took place, erasing masterpieces of late-period Gandhara art.

At the Japanese Tea Garden in San Francisco, California.
One of my early digital pics, and still one of my faves.
Huge statue of the Buddha in a monastery in Mechukha in the state of Arunachal Pradesh in north-east India.
The Big Buddha is a large bronze sculpture of Buddha, completed in 1993, and located at Ngong Ping, near Po Lin Monastery on Lantau Island, Hong Kong.
The sculpture's base is a model of the one in the United Kingdom. One of the five large Buddha images in China, it is enthroned on a lotus on top of a three-platform altar. Surrounding it are six smaller bronze images known as "The Offering of the Six Devas" that are posed offering flowers, incense, lamp, ointment, fruit, and music to the Buddha, representing the Six Perfections of generosity, morality, patience, zeal, meditation, and wisdom, necessary for Enlightenment in life.
The 34 m (112 ft) tall image weighs over 250 metric tons (280 short tons), and was constructed from 202 bronze pieces. In addition to the exterior components, there is a strong steel framework inside to support the heavy load. Visitors have to climb 268 steps to reach the Buddha. The Buddha's right hand is raised, representing the removal of affliction, while the left rests open on his lap in a gesture of generosity.
A reclining Buddha is a statue that represents Buddha lying down and is a major iconographic and statuary pattern of Buddhism. It represents the historical Buddha during his last illness, about to enter the parinirvana. He is lying on the right flank, his head resting on a cushion or relying on his right elbow, supporting his head with his hand.

Standing tall in divine grace, this is the magnificent bronze statue of Kuan Yin, the Goddess of Mercy, at Kek Lok Si Temple in Penang, Malaysia. Rising over 30 meters high, she represents compassion, kindness, and love—values deeply cherished in Buddhist culture.
Kek Lok Si, Southeast Asia's largest Buddhist temple, has been a beacon of spirituality and cultural pride since the late 19th century. This awe-inspiring pavilion, completed in 2009, shelters the goddess with its intricately carved pillars and vibrant roof, symbolizing both strength and serenity.
A visit to Kek Lok Si is not only a spiritual journey but also a visual delight—where history, architecture, and faith come together in perfect harmony.
Tip for Visitors: The temple's hilltop location offers a stunning panoramic view of Penang, especially at sunset. Don’t miss this sacred masterpiece!
At the Buddha Tooth Relic Temple once more... Each time a visit to the temple my luck seems to turn around with unexpected windfall. Looks like it's a blessing when I capture their images. Hopefully those who view it will be blessed with luck as well. The Buddha Tooth Relic Temple stands out as a tourist attraction down town in the heart Chinatown.
