The rose is the most celebrated flower in the Northern Hemisphere.
It is also the oldest domesticated flower on record.

The raining season has already begun in Saudi Arabia. However, it hasn't reached my city yet.
Strange enough is the fact that the green color is gradually spreading here although no rain has fallen yet. It is still slow and shy, but it is there.
Green begins in the form of a bud.
Found these flowers in a back alley of Montreal. Hope the person who took care of these recognizes itself.
Pink Rhododendron flower buds are ready to blossom. the textured leaves are wide open in the spring light.
In the middle of the decaying fall leaves, a new bud awaits spring.

A rose bud from my home garden, a John Paul II tea rose hybrid in fact, and it is May but still ... The image was taken in a shaft of the afternoon sun low in the sky and against a shady background.
