Alright guys, I'm nearly finished with my new Flash Rouges series! Woo!

I was working on a build for one of the last figs to be shot for (I'll bet you can take a guess as to whom that will be :P )

I had a impulsive shoot with Mr Barnes here (which is a wonderful fig mind you) on the primary build, and it turned out pretty great! A WIP version of the shot was posted on my instagram earlier today :)

Besides a minor spot check and a moderate color correction the lighting of the flames is all natural. For an impromtu shoot, It turned out much better than I expected! I'm still working through the shots and have begun the editing process, so I can't wait to finish the final product with Flash and his heated enemy!

In the mean time, I give you this :)

Sittin', readin' comics, drinkin' coffee...

Captain America: The Winter Soldier

I think for anyone who knows me, knows this one is self explanatory. I love me some Bucky - fucked up past and all!

Longing, rusted, furnace, daybreak, seventeen, benign, nine, homecoming, one, freight car... ;)

Next up...Princess Buttercup?

Based on his appearance in Captain America: The First Avenger (2011)

Bucky opened a little pouch sitting on the computer desk, and out popped Abraham and Rerun. Rerun curled up in Bucky's lap, but Abraham has been talking Bucky's ear off ever since. Buck seems totally okay with it, though, enjoying it, even.

Bucky's always so melodramatic, even when playing Frisbee.

I've had him a year now and I'm still blown away by him. <3

Bucky' s desperately depressed.

From L to R:

Winter Soldier: Kinda simple but I feel like it’s too good effect.

Falcon: I realized after I took the pic that you can’t see the printed arms. I used the arms from the Power Ranger CMF guy. The wings are simple but I feel too good effect.

US Agent: I REALLY struggled to find a torso for him, this worked alright.

Zemo: I’m so proud to call this a purist.

I made these before episode 1 came out. I might make another set of figs if there are enough interesting characters in episode 1. If nothing else I’ll make finale figs like I did for WandaVision.

I read Secret Empire: Prelude and came across one of the most beautiful two page spreads that I had ever seen (from Captain America: Sam Wilson #7).

These character shots of the three men who have taken up the mantle of Captain America - Sam Wilson, Steve Rogers, and James Buchanan Barnes - were inspired by the feelings that rose up in me after reading #7 and #8 in their entirety. Marvel's previous mishaps once convinced me that the franchise was no longer worth following, but these two issues renewed my belief that Marvel still has respect for its classic characters, even though they might not be as prominent as they were before.

I really like how Bucky Barnes looks with the Nightwing head - overall, it's a really versatile piece. I was able to find an extra one on Bricklink for only 5 bucks while looking for additional parts to include in an unrelated order. Me wanting to show off how nice the head looks was one of the reasons why I didn't put him in his Captain America outfit, with the main reason being I wanted to portray them as they appeared in the Pleasant Hill/Kobik event.

"I can't get this nose right."

"Just the nose, Bucky? That's awful. Doesn't look anything like me. Does this mean I finally win at something?"

"Yes, Murray."

I saw Captain America: Civil War last night and it was AWESOME! Definitely the best Marvel movie yet and probably will be one of the top movies of the year. It was very well done and was exciting and suspenseful the whole way through. They of course have a bunch of clever/hilarious humor in here, but there are actually a lot dark/sad moments surprisingly. All of the characters had their times to shine and in the end it still felt like a Captain America movie, even though it's basically an Avengers 3. Speaking of the characters...Spiderman and Black Panther...Man...Black Panther was BAD-ASS and Tom Holland's Spiderman is the greatest Spiderman we have ever gotten. I can't wait for both of their solo films. The airport battle scene was epic in so many ways and all of the action and stunts throughout the film were fantastic. All that being said, the Russo Brothers once again have created a masterpiece. I'm giving this movie a solid 10/10 or A+. Go and see it RIGHT NOW if you haven't already! Also, on a side note, I hope you guys like this little picture I set up. I know I'm missing War Machine and Vision, but I don't own their Lego Minifigures so there was nothing I could really do about that. Sorry.

That's all for now...

Not the greatest photo, but it's a shot with the cap on. It does go on with a little work.

"Am, too."

"Are not! I'M clearly shinier!"

IMMENSE thanks to my boyfriend for formatting the dialogue & bubbles!! He makes it look easy. :)

Another shot of the ACPlay stealth Bucky but with the new improved head. I can't get over how much better he looks. So so happy with him now.

Here's my Black Panther and Bucky Barnes from Captain America: Civil War. Both figures don the official figure torso. BP's helmet is a modified v3 Batman cowl. Bucky's head is from a Lone Ranger minifig. His metal arm was spray-painted silver.
