NOT SO BUBBLY LITTLE ONE

This precious little guy is named Bubbles. He is 6 weeks old. Someone saw him fall and called in. His two back legs are not functioning, and hence he is not able to walk. It doesn't look like anything is broken, but we are doing an x-ray to make sure. After the x-ray tomorrow, we will start to do physical therapy. We are going to bring in a huge bathtub for Bubbles to swim in.

I *love* bubble lights. We always had them on the tree when I was a kid, and I spent several years as adult trying to find them. A few years ago, bubble lights started getting popular again, and you can usually find them at Lowe's very early in the Christmas season. The non-stop bubbling effect reminds me of flickering candles.

bubbles in the rain

Southbank on a Sunday heaving with a sea of people, and many forms of entertainment, here are some serious bubbles. A lot of smiling faces, waiting for the next batch of bubbles.

It was anchors away for the first annual Bubbler Regatta at Hawthorne Library! Kiddos created their own mini vessels from recycled materials, tested their seaworthiness, and raced against their friends down our raingutter course.

This was part of the "Arts in the Alley" series located behind the Hawthorne Library in Mural Alley on July 9, 2019.

My recent trip to Amsterdam with my sister.

A friend gave me some peanut butter bubbles for our dogs. I don't know who had more fun, the kids or the dogs.

Bubbles! Well, some of the shots are bubbles. Most are actually. Some of them are several shots overlaid because I couldn't tell if I got enough bubbles in the shot. Can you really have too many bubbles? I think not.

Kind of silly what kind of experimenting goes on this late! An old bubbles shot I decided to mess around with.

Soap bubble. Turned off the autofocus, set focus to 3 feet, set the exposure, then chased bubbles around my back yard for a half an hour. None of them were really in focus, but some came close.
