Hi there! My name is Bubbles! I am a 1-year-old puppy who is active and full of life. I weigh 43 lbs. I came to the Rescue with nine puppies. Yes, NINE. It was seriously hard work taking care of them all for eight weeks, but I did great. Now they're all off starting lives of their own and it's my turn to find a loving, forever home. I love to play, play, play and play some more. I love kids. They play with me and they are always down for a good cuddle. I hope to find a home with active people who like to take walks, jogs or hikes and who want to romp and run in the yard with me. I would make a great jogging buddy or an adventure buddy! I am still learning some of my manners, but I am a smart girl and I work hard to please. I love all the people. Give me a couple of treats and we're besties. I am housetrained and looking for the best humans to love for life. Please apply today! Adoption fee: $80. Adopt a pair: $120. Fee includes testing, deworming, vaccinations, spay/neuter, 30 days of free pet insurance, one session with a certified behavior trainer and microchip. Apply online at form.jotform.com/81935638982170
Shot with an SB-600 in the hotshoe on manaul at full power aimed directly into the bubbles.
I love shooting in raw! At first this photo was nothing but white but set at -3.45 for the exposure and the details come out. It turned out to be the bubble shot that I liked best.
Inspired by Cecily's bubble day at her library (which was itself inspired by Burbuliatorius, we blew bubbles and had cookies and milk on the front porch of Tutt Library to celebrate the end of the first week of classes.
This kid up on his dad's shoulders had a bubble gun, and was firing it over the heads as the crowd followed the Sultan's Elephant down the Mall for the final time.
This was taken on the hoof, which accounts for the, er, idiosyncratic choice of focus, perhaps, but I liked the big central bubble.
This BMW Isetta 300 motor tricycle, also known as the bubble car, was developed in Germany from a 1953 design by the Italian firm ISO, from which the name derives.
This car is on display at the Streetlife Museum, Hull.

More bubble pics from the Maryland Renaissance Festival. I kinda liked the way they looked and snapping a picture of them was a bit difficult, with the kids trying to pop them and the bubbles just popping themselves. I liked looking at em and I liked the way they turned out so I figured I'd post em here in their own group.
Huge bubbles blown by a Hungarian family out side the Rijksmuseum in Amsterdam, August 2013. Great entertainment..!
Such a beautiful winter day and went snow shoeing. Came across a small stream and seen these bubbles on top of the water,
Thought, lets see what comes of these shots,
Interesting!!! Enjoy the day!
Standing on top of the Tate Moderns viewing balcony I watched the countless street performers working to earn some spare change when alln the sudden the sky was filled with bubbles. Thanks to some fast reactions and the pure luck of the wind a large bubble blow over a passer by taking it in from a side perspective. In Photoshop I decided to use a HDR effect so that the swirly colours would stand out more against the grey concrete.
I was feeling pretty crummy last night, so I cheered myself up a little by blowing bubbles. (Hey, whatever works!)
In the middle of this dome there was a contraption that would generate helium(?) filled bubbles that would slowly float up. You can see one of them contrasted on that guys chest. You, would get a staff, which at the end had a sort of taser on it, you'd press a button for it to zap. So what you would try to do then is hit the bubbles with the end of the staff, and coordinating it so you wouldn't just pop the bubble but zap the gas in it for a cool explosive effect...Wheee!!
Kick ass idea...unfortunately they ran out of gas before I ever got a shot at it.
Early Science Literacy Tot Time at Avondale Library. During today's program, Science of Water, tots played with a Tornado in a bottle - seeing how vortexes form. They learned about water pressure with an "octopus in a bottle", and they witnessed the effects of soap on oil. Sinkers and floaters demonstrated the concept of density, and painting, crayon rubbings, and bubbles added to the fun!
I was playing around with bubbles this morning. It is in the 20's in Houston, and I thought I would see if I could freeze some bubbles. Didn't work, but still had some fun photos.
