Bubbles I came across this article the other day and I thought it was interesting enough to make into an assignment. Hopefully, you will find the article of some value as well. It was also National Bubble Week last week, so it fits.
Yeah, it is blurry, but there just something about this one that I really liked.
A few days ago, I did some shots of bubbles to try and get my 365. It worked out pretty good and these are the other bubble shots I got that day.
This is the final photoshopped version of an image. There really isn't a lot of editing involved to get it from the original to this version. In Canon Camera Raw and photoshop the levels were changed and nothing else. The highlights, shadows and blacks have been reduced in varying amounts. Somehow I seem to end up with faces when I try to photograph bubbles. *LOL* What you're looking at here is bubbly and viscous hand sanitizer lotion poured into a glass beaker and placed on top of a light table, so lighting is actually from below. The picture was taken with the SuperMacro setting on the camera.

Painting with bubbles is hard work! Especially when you are by yourself and the wind is moving and changing directions every time you try to get the bubbles and the shutter to synche.
