The number of colors depend on the platform, on some both feet and tail-spikes are yellow. I forgot to buy red/orange cardboard, so mine was all yellow too.
A mystery Bristol location, now successfully guessed by Tracy. Thanks to Martin H, Gary, Andy Mc and Elin who were with me when I took the photo and kept the secret.
This is set into the paving outside the Windmill public house on Windmill Hill. My best guess is that it refers to the Bristol United Brewery, which merged with Georges in the 1950s (and subsequently with Courage, Scottish & Newcastle etc etc). Possibly it indicated a stopping place for brewery deliveries, assuring the driver of the brewery dray that he was unloading into the right cellar.
