There have been sporadic outings of the new Fastrack IE's over the past week or so, but Tuesday 29th April 2025 I believe was the first time that numerous examples were used in public service. Route A was the chosen route and despite not having any charging facilities at either end, it does pass the depot so examples were generally replaced after two or so rounders to "top up".
Seen here the following day on the Kent Fastway near The Bridge is Go-Ahead IE31 LJ25 BSU "Brian" whilst working a route A to Bluewater. Wednesday 30th April 2025.
IE31, was named on Friday 25th April 2025 after driver Brian, who was the first driver on the Fastrack service almost 20 years ago.

Heute war ich in der Behörde für Städteentwicklung und Umwelt , in der ich ganz nette mitarbeiter kennelernen durfte.
Von hier nochmals ganz herzlichen Dank für die Möglichkeit gegeben haben um ihr ganz besondere Treppenhaus abzulichten.Es war schon eine ganz besondere Herausforderung es in ganz kurzer Zeit zu schaffen um sie nicht al zu lange von ihrer Arbeit abzuhalten.Aber sieht euch das Resultat selber an und schreibt mir euer Kommentar.
Today I was at the Department of Urban Development and the Environment, where I met some really nice employees.
Thank you again for the opportunity to photograph your very special staircase. It was a real challenge to do it in such a short time so as not to keep you from your work for too long. But take a look at the results yourself and write me your comments.
Passengers using route 423 today could have easily been mistaken for thinking the route had been converted to Sapphire operation with both 3762 and 6451 working the hourly service!
