There are many bad examples of post-war 'Brutalism' architecture, but I think it works well at Barbican.

In early October, 2021, we took our cameras inside the ICC for the exciting The Sun Machine Is Coming Down, and it was great to take pictures inside this massive building.
From 21 September to 24 November 2019, The Harris Museum & Art Gallery, Preston held an exhibition “Beautiful & Brutal” celebrating 50 years of Preston bus station.
One of the exhibits on the second floor of the gallery was a plan of the bus station’s double sided clock.

The early-evening summer sky provides one backdrop to the Bartholdi Fountain across a side street from the Rayburn House Office Building; the brutalist bulk of Marcel Breuer’s Hubert H. Humphrey Building for the Department of Health and Human Services provides another.
