This is my first shot of drops that I post, I never got it right. The drops would fall off or had no refraction in them. In the background you see pastel crayons.
This is about 1.5 inch wide.

Micah went to the Galapagos Islands for study and took some fantastic photos. I used one of his for this, but the photo is not under the painting - just used it as a reference.

WM 501 emerges from the south portal of Brush Tunnel, returning to Cumberland on this day's excursion to Frostburg. The "Circus" paint scheme was Western Maryland's last paint scheme before the railroad absorbed with B&O, and C&O to form the Chessie System. The folks at the Western Maryland Scenic Railway recently repainted WM 501 into the "new" scheme. Though prototypically incorrect (not that I, nor 99.9% of railfans care, except for the rivet counters), it is proving to be a hit for both railfans, and the general public.
It was once a paint brush but when the handle broke it became my dust brush. I'm sure I've had it longer than I've had my Pentax K200D in the background, i.e. 2008. HMM
