Djupfjordstraumen bru er ei bru som krysser Djupfjorden på Hinnøya i Sortland kommune i Nordland. Den er en del av fylkesvei 822.
This is "Diversa".
Just fixed her after a couple of years spent buried in a garage.
Now she's back, and ready to rock!
This photo may not suggest so, but Bru has been surfing for most of his 50 some years, and has described this particular wave as epic, and world class.
Cherry Hill doesn't go off that often, and needs a sizeable northerly swell to work, but when it does, it is a thing of beauty! The day prior to this photo, Bru took photos and video of the wave with perfect , glassy 9 ft. barrels.
Only downside to this wave is that the river that runs past St. George's empties near here, and if there is a swell, there is often a storm with a lot of rain, so expect diapers, "sanitary" napkins, 2 x 4s with rusty nails etc. A friend of mine once got knocked off his board by a dead goat droppin' in on him. Now that's Narly Dude!!

A little bird, he told me so
He said come on, get on the go
Open your eyes the sky is full of butterflies
The blossoms on the trees stir up the honey bees
Spring makes my fever right
Spring fever, spring is here at last
Spring fever, my heart’s beating fast
Get up, get out spring is everywhere
Well if you feel the wanderlust
Just grab a car or hop a bus
In every town there’s excitement to be found
So much is happening
Don’t miss the joy of spring
The world’s in love just look around
Spring fever comes to everyone
Spring fever, it’s time for fun
Get up, get out spring is everywhere
Spring fever, it’s spring fever time
Spring fever, watch that fever climb
Get up, get out spring is everywhere
Spring is everywhere

This is the place at Brûly-de-Pesche that Hitler received the news of the French capitulation in June 1940. The moment was filmed and Hitler is seen walking up and down and looking very happy. The film of the event is often seen with him at Compiègne, where the armistice was signed but the footage near the trees was actually at Brûly-de-Pesche near his bunker and chalet.
