Week 21 in 52 Weeks for Dogs and here is our photo for the chair challenge in memory of Kelli Paswater, a former member of our group who passed away on Saturday, January 5 2019 from complications from breast cancer, aged just 36.
The Chair challenge is a fitting tribute to Kelli and her wonderful dogs Alice and June.
Whilst on holiday in Australia I was asked to look after little Teddy. He turned out to be a little photogenic boy, with almost too much energy 😅
His name is Voros Vadasz Zoltan Nemo. Nemo is a Vizsla aka Hungarian Pointer and often referred to as a velcro dog.
Thank you for taking the time to look at, comment on, and fave my photographs.
Srećkova njuška
Srećko, my loyal friend with a nose that never rests. He explores every corner, from bush to blade of grass, and his ears twitch at every sound – especially the crinkle of a bag! His bark is fierce, but his heart is as soft as a pillow. He fears thunder, cats, and stern looks, yet never misses a chance to snuggle. Over ten years old and still playfully goofy, a friend whose gaze says it all – and who knows how to keep secrets. ❤️
Nose of a Loyal Friend

I could not resist it... !!!(grins)
Happy Furry Friday for everyone...!!!
Ps. The cap was just for fun!
Week 4 in 52 Weeks for Dogs and Tasku and I attempted our chair challenge this week. The photo shoot did not go as planned! Tasku did not like the chair and jumped off numerous times, which meant I had to pick up all 20+kg of her each time - not good with a bad back. I got lots of shots with blown out highlights and a blurry Tasku, ended up settling for this one, it still needed lots of processing to make it just about acceptable.
The chair challenge is in honour of the memory of a special member of 52 Weeks for Dogs, Kelli Paswater aka browndog_09 who sadly passed away earlier this month, aged just 36. Kelli's photos of her beloved Alice and June inspired many, myself included. Read the story of Alice a pup that survived against all the odds, and see the 'Just Sittin' set of photos that made this the right challenge for our group to do in Kelli's memory.
Illustration for a creepy novella called 'The Ghosts of Blackrock Lighthouse' currently being serialised in the newspaper 'Asahi Weekly' in Japan.
A bearded fisherman with tattoos stands in front of a lighthouse, surrounded by waves and seabirds in a bright, colourful setting. He wears a green beanie and a striped shirt, evoking a maritime theme.

Okay ...my paw's have worn down.... so my belly is almost touching the ground .....can we please go home now...?
on a Summer's evening ...
the chair is old & rusted and was used a bit when he was younger as a prop while he was growing up, haven't got it out for some time.
I took too long on this photoshoot, he was excited initially, but then was trying to figure out how he was going to get his "kick/fetch" ball reward this being in the front yard when he left the ball in backyard? We went straight out the back after this & played kick/fetch, never-fear :-)

In the Kanku-Breakaways Conservation Park are a number of natural formations that the local indigenous community used in their stories. These two represent two dogs. The are lying down facing to the right of the image. The nose of the left white dog is resting on the tail of the right browndog who has a brown tipped nose.
The color variance in the area is stunning, as to are the stories by the Antakirinja Matuntjara Yankunytjatjara people.
Or if your dog, don't care about it at all and just pay attention to the person holding the dog treats. This was just one of those pictures that you take and declare "well, that was easy for this week."
And to see an even cooler rainbow picture check out Alice's own rainbow picture. I must say hers is much better.
-about 8 and a half hours of school left- Meaning more time to work and hopefully afford a couple of lenses... xD And working with Bello, he's been doing really well at coming and hopefully by the end of the summer will be capable of walking off leash.
... "hi, i'm doctor browndog and i will be your surgeon today!!"
flickr friends, i (kelli, not alice) am having surgery today. actually two surgeries. two surgeons (neither of them is a browndog, i hope!!) and they are sending me home the same day!! that is the scary part.
i had a similar procedure last summer, so at least i have an idea how the recovery will go. will probably have lots of flickr time in the next few days. i'm gonna be so bored, so post lots of awesome pictures to entertain me, please. :)
wish me luck!! i will update when i can.

Morning all. Hope everyone had a lovely chocolate filled Easter weekend.
Not my usual subject matter but when asked by my Aunt to take some pics of her dog how could I refuse. They say don't work with kids or animals, I see why now. This dog was nuts! Getting him to stand still was almost impossible, getting him to not chew the end of my lens off was a separate challenge all together!
...at alice's restaurant.
in honor of thanksgiving day, and the greatest thanksgiving song ever (and maybe the only thanksgiving song ever?) alice and i bring you our re-creation of the cover of this 1967 album...
alice worked quite hard on this one. she had to learn to jump up in the kitchen chair and sit on it, and how to wear a hat. she earned lots of cheese for this shot!!
on a side note, i am going to see arlo guthrie in march. unfortunately, alice will not be allowed to attend.
The sunny calm day did not take away from the dog's vigilance during the walk. What could be hiding around the corner?

A favorite scene in the park are dogs having a blast.
Wanted to own one but we need to move to a bigger place first.
Yes Spring is here! And everybody is having fun.
While greeting our friends, put some music on the background.
Have a fantastic week ahead!
this evening, i took out the wide-angle lens to get some photos of alice in our newly mowed field (yay!! no more ticks!!). as always, there was a lot of ball playing going on. we decided to try to re-create one of my favorite alice photos of all time (and her most popular on flickr with nearly 300,000 views) and this was as good as we could get. i wanted to make it a part of her 52 weeks set this year, since last year's photo happened after i had already submitted for the week.
