couldn't resist taking this photo. the dog left the door open and goz came in and found his/her old brooder and wanted to hop back in.

At Alwarpet, Chennai. An unusual sight at my balcony. A crow feeding a hungry cuckoo.

I played with the tone mapping of this one too make it look like a very scary pink sky.

It's interesting and kind of spooky that it can be easy to manipulate photos to that degree. I mean, what's real and what's not these days?

Harbour at Parry Sound, Ontario

The Grebes that are on the lake have raised one little humbug that they're still feeding. However, the parents were still mating and no there's another egg in the nest... What will happen to the youngster? It still seems dependent on the parents.

I hope that you like this and all comments and criticisms are welcome.

Rhys, photographed candidly at a birthday party in low light.

Culling old photos, I came upon this image from June, 2008, originally rejected because of the tree blocking the face of the male Vermilion Flycatcher. On further consideration, I decided to share this fantastic moment when Mom and Dad worked together to remove a fecal sac from under the baby bird's raised tail. How sweet is that?
