The worst feeling is when someone makes you feel special, then suddenly leaves you hanging, and you have to act like you don't care at all.
The worst part is I fell into your trap because I was in a bad place, so from now on I'm going to start by falling in love with myself and the world around me. Thank you for the lesson.
Of course I had to do something Valentines related :)

It's with a broken heart that I post this last picture ever taken of my best furry friend, Sampson.
On Wednesday (March 23, 2011) we had a wonderful walk with Sampson and three of his best canine friends. Midway through the walk, Sampson's prey drive took over and he attacked a porcupine. He came away with a few quills in his lips and many in his back, hip and leg. Off to the vet we went where he was knocked out to have all of the quills removed.
The next morning he seemed in perfect form as I took what would be my last walk ever with him. I left later that morning for North Bay for my work hockey tournament, with plans to return on Sunday morning. Judy took him for a walk on Thursday night and again on Friday morning and he again seemed to be perfectly fine. On Friday afternoon I got a call from my Mom to call Judy urgently as something was wrong with Sampson. It was more than wrong...Sampson was gone!
Judy came home to find Sampson dead at the bottom of our basement stairs. The vet thinks that they either missed a quill in his chest or he swallowed a quill that punctured his esophagus and in either scenario the quill migrated and punctured his heart causing a fatal heart attack. He was in his 7th year and so full of joyous life.
He was our friend, our confidant and our constant source of pure joy.
He was Autumn's big "brother", her protector, her play toy and her very best friend.
He was the epitome of life and now his has ended far too soon.
Our home is so empty without his larger than life presence. Sampson leaves us with countless special memories, I just wish we could have made so many more together in the years that have been stolen from you and us. We love you and miss you Sampson.

Loc: near Lower Celetar Reservoir, Singapore..
If were a kid, could have played under the raining tree's shades..
If you were with me we could have sat on the bench and pray for the rain not to stop..
----I was waiting under the shelter for the rain to stop...and it was keep raining.
But i love the rain and love it under the tree shades......

I have been doing fairly well for myself for the last few weeks. New car. New job. It's great...
But today, I woke up with just a heavy heart. I broke down crying... I still can't believe at this point I've lost Jeffrey, from what he has done and what he may be thinking... about me, about the relationship. I can't stop thinking of the broken promises, our engagement, how happy I was. Sometimes I wonder if I am just having a nightmare.
I took this picture to remind myself of the pain he is putting me through. Everyone is telling me to move on. I am trying my best. I hope if I see this picture I will start to see why....
This is my photo for the 52 in 2017 challenge - #7 Domestic animal.
This is my new doggie grandson with some of his overjoyed family. He has come as a healer to heal their broken hearts after losing their two Whippets in the space of three months. Jet, the 2 year old from a sudden onset illness and Shiloh, 5 years after a vicious dog attack in front of her and my granddaughters, by a friend's Doberman while my daughter was house sitting. Their house seemed so empty and I am so happy that Loki has come to join them.

Bradley's Locksmith has some interesting hand-painted signs outside their shop on State St. east of Wright Square. They are a family business which has operated from the same building for multiple generations. Here are some of the painted messages:
We sharpen anything but your wits.
We fix anything but a broken heart.

Given his proclivity for a good adventure you’d be forgiven for thinking that Patrice the winged bull has actually just got back from outer space. Sadly though, since the last time we’ve seen Patrice he’s had his heart broken. :( Just like in Gloria Gaynor’s ‘I will survive’ his beau magically reappeared in his life but Patrice is having none of it. He’s already picked himself up, dusted himself off and transmogrified into the next incarnation of Patrice. And this incarnation doesn’t have any space for any extra baggage…
Patrice’s third outing has been produced on supersmooth A2 paper using the magic of stencils, spraypaint, acrylic paint, paint pens and imagination. Now he’s fully transmogrified he’s looking for his forever home. Drop us a line if that’s with you or he’ll be on our new website (www.id-iom.com) in due course.
Cheers

After an era of humans met its demise in a grave dug by bulldozers. There is nothing left for us here.
Nothing.

Sometimes our hearts get broken in life. And sometimes the resulting pain and bitterness leaves us with hearts that have turned to stone. Broken...and hard. We can't imagine loving or trusting ever again. But God promises that He can do "heart surgery" and replace our hearts of stone with new, living hearts of flesh. Ezekiel 11:19-20. (My review of this excellent lens will go live next Monday. Video Review is uploading now, and I will be putting the finishing touches on the text review over the next few days.)
