Some people think Libraries are a bit grey
For many of us, libraries are about borrowing books - and that's still true. But there's much more to the services on offer at your local library today. Your library puts on programmes and activities for all ages - it offers free access to technology, as well as workshops and courses on a range of topics including how to use the Internet. You can research your family tree or find out what's happening in your local community
... and much, much more. And, it's all free!
Finance Company Brochure design template by Chris Mackintosh.Showcased on Inkd.com.
This brochure would be fitting for a finance company or bank providing capital to individuals or businesses. The professional tone of the brochure is portrayed through the desaturated hues and refined typography treatment. The brochure can be used to describe various lending and finance programs through text and graphs.
This was a challenge painting from my cousin; she found an old travel brochure in her mother's things and said, "Let's paint it!" so I did! :)

Two Canadian municipal operators placed orders for Daimler's new Roadliner model, who knows, maybe wooed by the offer of an American built Cummins Diesel engine (back when the two countries were best buddies!)
Duple's 'Midland' works (Willowbrook) provided the bodywork to a style which went on to be more usually associated with 'lightweight' chassis here in the UK. If I'm not mistaken, these Roadliners were the first incarnatuion of the type. The Duple parts bin appears to have yielded the large orange front indicator lenses which had been used on the Vega series of coach bodies.
The bus illustrated here in the Roadliner brochure was one ordered by Calgary. The other municipal was Edmonton. One of the latter survived into preservation but sadly fell by the wayside and was scrapped.
This is a scan of the front and rear cover of a Kodak sales brochure from 1936, simply titled "KODAK". On the front you will see what looks like a mother and father with their daughter going out for a picnic. The daughter appears to be carrying either a Kodak Brownie Six-16 or Six-20 camera. Inside there are advertisements and price listings for various models of Kodak Brownie, Baby Brownie, Jiffy, Bantam and Retina cameras. On the rear cover you will see an advertisement reminding customers to: "always ask for Kodak film in the yellow box".
Kodak was one of the few American companies to thrive during the Great Depression, with its stock value nearly doubling by the end of the 1930s. This was due in part to Kodak's large customer base and brand loyalty which it had established in the decades prior to the 1930's. Kodak also remained innovative during this period and introduced its famous colour reversal film Kodachrome in 1935.

Another shot from the Reliant brochure, The man with the world's oddest hair parting has driven from the Odeon in his blue Regal and met up with friends, they were made for each other, she has the flask he has the milk bottle. It is a miserable day and the family have a non-working concrete fountain for entertainment, and a red ball of course, they came for the stately home but is was shut

Retro Barbershop Brochure design template by Adrian Montesoro. Showcased on Inkd.com.
This brochure could be used for a hair salon interested in providing a one-on-one personal experience for every customer. With a retro aesthetic and palette, the brochure captures the essence of a unique, friendly salon.
Thanks to a very good friend, I had several Daimler brochures donated a few days ago. Whilst I already have a later one, I've not seen this very early example before.
Now I'm not someone who needs to be convinced of the Fleetline's mechanical or design merits. but to pitch it for Motorway work would require something of a leap of faith. The fastest ones I've ever driven (with higher speed angle drive) would top out at about 50mph, so hardly a 'Gay Hostess' Atlantean. Maybe Daimler had something else up their sleeves . . . Three final drive ratios are quoted in the brochure, but no mention of what they translate to in terms of top speed.
Anyway, you've got to love 'artists' impressions of the day. The Motorway illustration shows either a half size Fleetline or twice full sized Citroen DS being overtaken. One can only wonder whether these illustrators were occssionally partial to hallucinogenic substances prevalent in the era.

Note the centrally-positioned steering wheel and driver's seat in this early illustration, as well as the doors that wrap up into the roof and the front fenders that turn when the car is cornering. These items did not reach production.
Hardware Store Brochure design template by Crispin Finn. Showcased on Inkd.com.
This brochure would be perfect for a local hardware shop providing friendly service to all customers. The graphic exterior uses the identifiable language of tools hanging from a pegboard to convey the subject of the brochure.
Cover of the brochure for the largest Ford models. This one is for Canadian market. I don't know if there were any differences from the US offering since I don't have that brochure to compare.
Another project provided by www.moreyellow.com . A very nice project again, buisness cards and brochure, with 2 special metal inks (blue and gold) added...

a square-ish tri-fold brochure for a missions camp for middle schoolers. Just got this as a rush-job today and it has to be done by tomorrow morning (at least round 1). I'm exhausted... thoughts?
I have no choice on the "logo'... that was specifically requested.
Thanks for the feedback!
I realised I hadn't shot the new(ish now) Distagon f1.4 35mm ZM on the M8. That's really because the M8 is now limping along and rarely gets out. Cards playing up, even new ones so not the cards the internal reader/circuit, LEDs failed, battery lasts no time and flat dies from full so a challenge. Still, managed a few frames off. It's a great lens but I really can't get used to the size. I think my 90mm is shorter. Well off to check, with hoods the weight is the same as the 90mm f2.8 Elmarit-M and the height difference is negligible the 90mm being mms longer, still it's very sharp with a nice short focus throw and internal focussing.
